I play N/L online but my local cardroom i've been playing 2-4 limit.

Players seem pretty loose and no very experinced.

It's a good opportunity for you to clean up with tight disciplined play. At my local casino the only limit games left are 2-5 Limit. I just wait for the bus to bring in mostly seniors afraid to play NL and clean up. With bingo players, I cleared as much as 900 within 10 hrs. Steady rate is 3-400 a session. Don't underestimate. Loose players are profitable.

Yeah I play limit at my local casino, limit is full of loose players that will pay to see all the cards as long as it's not getting capped everytime. They get lucky alot though I kinda dislike limit for that reason I might flop a flush but I can only raise it so much and the person who flopped a two pair is gonna stick around to beat you with the full house on the river.

Remember limit play is about seeing higher volume of hands. Quantity and probably are your tools. He may suckout, but the longer he plays with you the more he will lose to you. Your proper play gives you positive expectation like a casino does. A couple of percent will give you a huge edge in the long run as long as you stick to your play despite the suckout. Sucking out once in awhile will help you by keeping everyone in the game by shearing not skinning your sheep. Steady smaller wins with less swings will keep you a steady winner.

i abhor 2/4 limit. anything less than 10/20 is just too fish. 8 or 9 players every hand to the river means it really dont matter what you have, just get lucky. it is possible to win at 2/4 of course. you just have to have the luck that day and catch the cards. you cant bet anyone out, you will get rivered by a weak(er) hand, you will probably go through your initial buyin faster than you would have thought possible. that being said, i will play it if its the only game being offered as its still better than slots and most table games.
