At Betonline during a knockout tournament you are allowed to rebuy anytime your chip count falls below the original stack size (Usually 1500 chips).

My question is, say a player is down to a couple hundred chips and they shove. Knowing they are going to loose the hand they click on the rebuy button and rebuy before the hand ends. If you win the hand do you get the bounty? I guess technically they were never sitting with zero chips so you don't but this hardly seems fair.

I guess this is just another reason not to play knockouts at BOL...

I could be wrong but I do believe that if the player makes a rebuy you do not get the KO bounty because technically they are still in the game.

This happened to me before and I was curious to why I wasn't awarded the bounty.

No, it does not happen during the distribution, but only after the end. The player will not be able to use these 1500 chips in the game of this hand. It means losing it will reach 0 and will be counted as knocked out.
