I kind of thought it would be like most players on Betonline are. You just dont know where they are from. But no matter, the poker site will know who you are and should not cause a problem with cash out and deposits
Yeah, a site could never be truly anonymous to the point where you don't have to provide any information or validate who you are to be able to deposit/withdraw....
The closest it would get is a site like Bovada/bodog where each player is anonymous to other players on the tables but as for behind the scenes the same info is collected by the site as it would be on any other poker site.
You are only anonymous to the other players, not the site itself. You sign up, create a user name and pass word. When you play however the other players see the same thing you do, a table full of nameless players.
poker room is not anonymous but the table is. you are regularly registered with full name but when you are playing instead of your name at the table appears mark player1, 2,...5 and you dont know who is sitting with you and you cant track or be tracked
