Anytime I have ever had a problem and had to call Americas Cardroom they always respond with LIES. It started off when I found out they allow/promote multiple accounts on the WPN network by using different skins. When I called about it they said its not important because they are different skins, although they allow you in the same tournaments. Well I found this extremely odd. It reminded me of AP/UB. So I slowed down the amount of time I played there.

A few weeks later I withdrew all my money but forgot about my points. I transferred the points into cash and messed around occasionally there. Ended up building up just short of 50$ withdraw minimum. Variance kicked in and I couldn't break 50$. I was extremely close and called to try and see if I could somehow withdraw what I had. They said I couldn't and I asked what it cost them to send me my money through bitcoin and I would pay it. They said it cost them nothing, so I asked again why I couldn't withdraw if it didn't cost them anything. I was put on hold and he came back and said I could only withdraw below 50 if I closed my account. Bingo.. what I wanted to do anyway.

Then the DDOS attacks occurred and I knew I had to get off this site.

So a few weeks ago I called because I wanted to close my account. I wanted to go through a supervisor because the people that answer the phone have little knowledge of the subject. They are paid to read a script. For some reason ( I assume they searched my account by phone and got a number wrong) they started giving me another players info and asking me his security stuff. This made me irate because they obviously are not concerned about security. I wont share that players info here (For obvious reasons).


I finally spoke to Anna from "management", she didn't seem to think it was a big deal either. She told me I had to close my account before we could withdraw less than 50$. I told her no one with common sense would do that because whose to say she doesn't close my account and not give me my money. In the meantime, I make Anna mad, because I past being nice, so she tells me she has closed my account and if I send her my bitcoin address she will send it right over. This was 6 days ago. Since I didn't get it I called back. They said it would be there tomorrow. Same the next day. 3 days ago they finally let me speak to anna again and she tells me they have processed it on their end and I will have it in 24-48 hours. So I wait a few days and check tonight and still no money.


Now they are telling me my account is closed and they are not going to send me my money. Just like I thought would happen in the beginning.


Since I started researching more on WPN, I have heard they have done this to multiple people with big money on them. Can't trust everything you read, until it happens to you.

Very sorry to hear about yoru troubles with ACR. While we are on the subject of cashing out. Has anybody had any issues cashing out on ACR or bovada recently? I am just curious about the state of cashouts/ withdrawls from these different unregulated sites. If so, how long has it taken to get a check in the mail etc? Thanks guys as always!

Sounds strange enough. I have never had any problems with this site. I, on the contrary, believe that they are working quite effectively.

Very surprised by this situation. I never had any problems with this room. I like the ACR. I will follow the situation. Write please, than all will end.

Regarding ACR, it depends on the type of check you chose, if it's a free check it takes 8 weeks maximum, checks sent via FedEx normally takes around 5 business days.

Upper management is ANNA "supposedly," so I will just chalk it up to an unregulated site ripping me off. I will just put your site in the mistakes pile. You are now just another AP/UB to me and I will never use WPN again. Even when you collapse and try to start new skins.

Sounds like after the DDOS attack they are broke and need every penny they can steal.

I suggest to anyone playing on ACR/WPN, or thinking of joining, watch the video posted by bellykiller. It will give you an idea of how much CEO Phil Nagy really cares about security.

They named it Americas Cardroom to make you feel like it is a secure site, and to sucker in USA players. Sure.. they are in Central America, but I don't think that's the reputation they are shooting for.


How much can you trust an unregulated site, from costa rica?


Do you think they have your best interest in mind?


I suggest do your own research, and come to your own conclusion. I know I have came to mine.

I'm just sharing my horror story, not making decisions for you.


The "upper management" did not want to help finish my withdrawal for over a week over the phone. What would make me think that a CS rep on cardschat would get me any further?

I always assumed the min cash out was 150.00 . I knew that when i opened the account .

ACR has always treated me great.

I gave up getting my money when I was told this was a final decision and then abruptly hung up on.

My account is closed so I don't know how else to get it.
This is why I insisted cashout before closing account.

ACR has always done right by me. I'm sorry you have had a bad experience. The ACR Rep on CC is a real guy though. He is just trying to help you out but you don't want any help anymore. Seems you came to vent which is fine by me. Once again sorry for the bad experience you had.

I knew it was 50$. But after losing trust I wanted out. I was just checking to try it, if they said no, I was going to grind it out. But when I was told I could get it if I closed my account I chose that route. I didn't know I was being lied to, otherwise I wouldn't of tried it.

But it is what it is. I will just continue where I am at. Go back in my hole, and hope they do something about online poker in the US. Bring it back to the good old days.

ACR Rep has helped plenty of people with problems and that is documented in the Offical ACR thread on CardsChat, that is one reason to think you might get further with his help.

not sure how I come across wrong. But if they are not willing to help me over the phone I'm not going to do it in a chat.
Last time I called and gave them my username, they put me on hold for 5 minutes, came back and hung up on me. So that tells me they are not willing to discuss it further.
ACR knows who I am, if they want to clear it up they can call me.
I guarantee if I was a losing player, and had to continue to reload, they wouldn't of been so quick to close my account.

Ignoring the requests of the ACR rep for your username so he can make inquires for you and get you your money is one way to not get it.
