hey all. i am TDubs82 on America's Cardroom. i play on bovada as well. feel free to share your thoughts about ACR here. i am enjoying the site and the rakeback but there is low sit-n-go traffic. hope it picks up

ACR needs to add some more tournaments. The sng traffic is pretty far and few between.
I usually play the cash games and they are very soft.
Cashouts are the fastest for US players AFAIK.

You generally need to sign up thru an affiliate who is allowed to offer the 27% Rakeback.

If you have downloaded the client, but did not register an account, the best way is to uninstall the software, clear your cookies, and download from an approved affiliate.

Note that if you take Rakeback, you are not eligible for the Elite Benefits Program, so you may want to take a look at that before you decide. A pure profit analysis of Rakeback v Elite Benefits was discussed in another sites thread that came to the conclusion most players would benefit more from Rakeback unless they played extremely heavy volume.

If you have already registered for an account, you may try contacting customer support to see if they can switch your account to Rakeback Status.

I have been playing a bit of cash games there lately. Just a few tables, but the donkeys that show up (with just a couple top notch players) are as bad as you will find anywhere in the poker world. Just atrocious. (ie last night guy 3-bet his last $7 in 25NL6Max with 93 preflop)

You may hate the rake in the BBJ Tables, but the chance at $75K one shot on the 50NL tables for taking the bad beat works out for me (you get less money below 50NL). Current BBJ is $267,000 and it hits fairly frequently for quad 8s beat.

Payout Structure

30% goes to the loser of the hand
20% to the winner of the hand
10% is divided amongst the other players at the table
30% goes to the reseed of the next jackpot
10% of the gross jackpot goes to the house

Can some one explain rake bake to me? I already have a carbon poker account so did I just miss the boat on a lot of features that I would have gotten going through an affiliate?
