Hey Everyone,

I just joined CC last night and finally had a chance to throw out a post to everyone! I've been a lurker on here for awhile and finally thought it was time to join and get in on the action with everyone else.

I have been playing live games for the past couple of years now and finally decided to make the change into the online realm. Needless to say, I had no clue about Black Friday or anything of the sort until I finally started doing some research online. Anyway I see it all the time on here U.S. players asking which room is best to play online, also which deposits/withdrawals are the best as well.

I know being in the U.S. nothing will come easy for us as far as withdrawals go, but I needed some advice on what rooms everyone plays and why? I'm in AZ so there aren't too many online players, but there are a ton of us that play live.

So I sign up for Carbon which I know is on the Merge Net and so far I haven't had any complaints, but do you guys have anything else that could offer better online play? Thanks to all who read this and give their input. I look forward to chatting it up on here for many posts to come! :)

Welcome to CC Stealth !

I can't give you much advice on what other sites exept carbon will be available for you being in the US (AZ) since I'm non US and therefore didn't research that.

I'm quite sure there will be plenty of other US members able to help out there though.

Keep in mind that your posts will be limited to 7 a day for a short while (anti spam policy) so put as much info & questions as possible in every post you make.

Welcome!!!
just look around online before you join a site for the best rackback deals.
One of the merge sites is prob your best option, from within the U.S. but there are more rooms.Cake i believe takes U.S. players.
Just remember before you sign up to look for RB deals.!!!!!!!!

Thanks both @joebob69 and @grafkarow for the welcome. I heard good things about merge which is why I jumped on Carbon. I might look into some other rooms/sites as well to see what might work best for me. Thanks again for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated!

not only are withdrawals difficult here in the usa, but i think depositing can be even more challenging sometimes! i personally had a hard time depositing with carbon, but was able to with black chip and also lock before the network change. i prefer merge to revolution, but i havent really tried americas cardroom yet either....but might i suggest not only looking for the best rakeback offers before downloading, but also look for a no deposit required free bankroll. its a good way to try before you buy...lol. but dont forget to clear your internet cookies before you actually download, otherwise you may end up tagged to the wrong offer. and it sucks trying to figure out which one youre tagged to instead! good luck at the tables and happy gaming!

thanks @charlie, I appreciate the feedback. I was thinking of looking into Americas Cardroom as well but I heard that there aren't too many players on it. I'm trying to build the BR off FR's right now but as everyone says, patience is key to building it ha! Thanks for the tips again!

Welcome aboard!

Yeah, right now pickin's is slim in the US. A lot of players are just to damn nervous to return online after Black Friday. I myself just returned in March via Lock Poker. I can't count the conversations I've had of people asking if I'm not nervous about committing this felony. Anyway I do want to say I give Merge a thumbs up. I'm okay with it since there are not a whole lot of options for us state siders. I will tell you this though, as soon as poker stars makes a return I will drop anything else in a heart beat. Since you did not play online prior to Black Friday you will just have to take the word of poker forumites - Poker Stars and Full Tilt were by far and away the leaders in online poker (just prior to BF) with 10 times as many people online at any given time than you will find on the most busy site today.

So anyway I am on Lock and Carbon. Lock just made a major change I am not digging and Carbon just did a major upgrade that seems very promising once the bugs are ironed out.

Thanks for the welcome @blitz I appreciate the feedback. I heard pokerstars was the place to be before all this crazy-ness went down. I heard about the change with Lock and I am hoping Carbon gets the bugs out sooner than later.
