I have been doing alot of research of different online poker news sites and forums and I have come to the conclusion that there isn't one site that is completely reliable right now. From what I have read both Cake and Merge networks are having huge cashout delays, and Bovada and BetOnline have different issues that make me shy away.
Hopefully this legislation passes in 2012 at some point because these sites are to wishy-washy for my to put any trust into.
Opinions?

If you are a US player then I agree. Having said that keeping a small roll on any site should be fine, as long as your not silly enough to have a large amount online.

As for ROW then there is plenty of 100% safe options. (well 99%)

As long as the DOJ is continuing it's effort to stop US players from playing online, I agree. I keep no money online that I cannot afford to lose.

Agree 100% for US players right now. We just lost another option a few days ago, Everleaf gaming, I think it was. Getting to have fewer and fewer options. I stayed away after Black Friday for just this reason. Finally, in mid-December, I couldn't take it anymore and deposited a small amount on Carbon. Fortunately, I've been able to grow the initial deposit somewhat, but if/when the DOJ comes calling at Merge Gaming's door, I'm not counting on ever actually seeing my money.

this is exactly why I'm just sticking to step tournaments on Carbon, if I cant grow a roll playing those, then I probably shouldn't be depositing anywhere anyways.

Looks like intertops is the most reliable as far as cashouts go. More speedy than other Cake sites. Worth a little deposit but nothing big

I had money stolen from: Jetset Poker, 4 Jungle skins, AP, UB, ewallet express, usdbet, Full Tilt, and now 3 everleaf sites.

Learn from past mistakes, If u can cashout, do so. Keep the minimum amount you can play with in the account, the rest in your wallet.

I agree nobody out there is trust worthy, but not only for the US player- most of those sites stole EVERYONES money, not just USA.

I have recently cashed out of Carbon and Felt Stars without any problems whatsoever. I use Skrill [Moneybookers] and don't have all that hassle about sending documentation to verify who I am.
I have also done the same on the Cake Network with Power Poker and Poker Players Cafe, again, without the hassle. :)
Cash has cleared pretty fast so I have no complaints.

I remember JetSet. It shut down out of nowhere and screwed everyone, and did it before it was the popular thing to do lol

You can't blame the sites though. They are doing everything possible to keep the money flowing back and forth to players. But, a lot of risk and troubles on their end to get it done.

I can't speak for Merge lately or Cake ($500 min cashout sheees) ever. But, I had a check back from Bovada in a week and tou get one free check a month no service fees.

Obviously a ROW player. US players can't use moneybookers or any ewallet I know of now. So deposits and especially withdrawals are tough (with the possible exception of Bovada).

How were you able to deposit on Carbon? I am having problems with trying to deposit on there. Any help would be great!

The cashouts for WU on Lock are pretty fast. I've done two and they've both had 3 day turnaround from when they were requested to when I got the money. The max is only $800 but it's pretty quick. Lock is quick about refunding the fee for your first one of the month as well.

Went pretty smoothly. Just used Carbon's regular Lobby/Deposit option. Since it was my first deposit with them, they did list it as pending for a short time, but within the hour I was up and playing. I used visa, not sure if M/C works with Carbon.
