The inevitable is coming: Incognito, formerly known as Bovado, will crash sometime in October after the transition is complete.

With this foresight, who will become the new USA poker kingpin? ACR has AMERICA in its name, but BetOnline was recently upgraded to "sexy" status, so I'm guessing that either is formidable.

I wish everyone would play at one site. Oh well.

I don't think they will crash at all, A few bugs to work through on the migration but I think they will come through fine.

ignition poker is very glitchy. ACR seems to have most of their performance issues straightened out. Carbon seems to have no traffic, so I'd say ACR seems to be the current best of some very bad choices.

First of all, it's called Bovada...

pack another bowl. I'm sure you've packed plenty.

And of them, betonline is the best second choice out there. But please regs, don't play at Ignition, let me continue to eat the chinese fish and Canadian sports bettors.

Incognito doesn't offer sports betting :joyman:

Sports betting hasn't been a big thing for me, so no issue there.

Sports betting attracts recreational poker players who are typically more fishy.

It's happening: Incognito, formerly known as Bovado, has lost so many players that hardly anyone is playing right now. Woah.

So you are rooting for it's demise?

There's still plenty of traffic on there, so not sure what you're talking about. We'll see after the 1st, but so far it's not that different.

Just as I predicted, Incognito is screwed. Zone poker is now tighter than your mom's you-know-what.

I have been a very happy customer playing on bodog and then bovada . the action has always been sweet and the software very reliable . that said , I took much of my 'roll out before switching to Ignition . that move by bovada ( to their credit ) was made because our United States DOJ required the Mohawk Reservation , near Montreal , where poker sites are licensed, to stop serving US players . Ignition poker may or may not thrive , but they made the honorable choice , and did us right ( unlike Ultimate Bet , Absolute Poker , and from the looks of things, Full Flush ).

Any evidence of the DOJ being involved?

I don't see Ignition going away anytime soon so long as poker stars is limited to just a few States in the U.S. I'm sure Ignition expected to see the decline in players when they purchased Bovada, but there were over 3000 runners in one of their freerolls. As for Betonline, I really didn't like playing there and it's hard to build a bankroll through freerolls because every freeroll has an addon/rebuy.

All of your information is completely incorrect. I know there's been a lot of disinformation, but come on guys, it's the information age. All you have to do is google to get the correct info.

First of all it was the NJDGE and Kahnawake gaming commission and not the DOJ and Mohawk. The NJDGE and Kahnawake gaming commission conspired to end any regulation licensing to non-US approved gaming sites. This went into effect Sept 1st, and Bovada and Ignition both did this voluntarily. It doesn't mean anything other than they can't say their gaming software is overseen by their commission. I'm sure they will look for another regulatory body at some point, but this really doesn't effect anything. And it surely does not mean they will stop talking US customers. That is complete non-sense.

They will use this opportunity to rig their software to maximize profit margins.

Haters gonna hate apparently.

It's one of the few US sites that has been taking care of business for years. I guess it's hard to know what will happen with Ignition, but as long as Bodog China and their sportsbook are still linked to Ignition, and Bodog canada, I think we'll be ok.
