ACRStormers Freeroll

I was a member of ACRStormers and I would receive the email alerts about upcoming tournaments and promotions, but whenever they held a freeroll I never received the password and I would have to contact them to get the password. Well this past Friday/Saturday I received the email notification about the Sunday 500.00 freeroll but come Sunday I never received the email with the password, which has happened twice before. So I'm looking around the net and I see another player complain that he too did not get the password and the tournament is now closed. And then it dawned on me. My ass may be dumb, but I ain't no dumb ass. Whoever is running it has 2 lists. On the first list everyone gets the promotional material but on the second list contains the names of those players they want to have the password first. If you're not on that list the chances of you playing are slim.

I actually was one who didn't get into the freeroll and have been an ACRStormer. lost In Poker in twitch runs it and I spoke to him and I didn't realize it but apparently I had unsubscribe to emails. This was strange for I never did unsub emails. Check you memberplanet account and see if you were unsubbed. ACR capped the freeroll anyways and a couple of the bounties didn't get into the game as well so no bounty on them as they couldn't get in. I guess they didn't do the secret knock.

Email passwords don't work. They just need to announce on stream the password. I don't think it supposed to be exclusive and LostInPoker doesn't have access to the freeroll to make changes.

I also spoke to LostInPoker and he said the freeroll was accidentally started with a cap on the number of players, while it should have been unlimited. He also said they would be running a make up event soon due to the confusion

that is awesome if they do a makeup game.

I really sorry about the inconveniences that you guys have experienced, may you please provide me with your email addresses so I can send them to review. We are continuosly working in improving the process

A new sit & go would be nice to play in. I like to play sit & go's. It seems like it would be fun.

That is going to be awesome, it will change the industry!!!

I would suggest changing the name of this will be an industry change. Poker is worldwide not just Americans.

I would really like to see ACR change their name. It polarizes the ROW players. I can't tell you how many times I have seen people from canada and other countries assume they can't play on ACR just because of the name. I mean Americans what if there was a site called European Cardroom would you assume you couldn't play there. I believe just a simple change of name would open its floodgates.

I never thought about this ,I think you make a good point.

yeah they didnt send me shit this week... so im bailing, one takes the time to follow the steps and follow the instructions just to be scammed out oif what was advertised... very common nowadays

I hate it when they make me lose my time like that

Hi. When did you register? Did you get an e-mail from them confirming your registration was processed?

Confirmation

You have to go to their page and sign up urself there. After registration/signing up, you need to get a confirmation email from them, and on that email, u are receiving passwords.

They are really good about getting back to you and answering any questions that you might have!

ACRStormers gamed everyone with phony freerolls.

Many signed up to participate but none of the newbies including myself ever got a password that worked or got in a game. They ran for 3 weeks off and on in the end. Then canceled w/o saying a word on Twitch, Twitter or ACR sites. Just dumped them.

So, I dumped them when they would not even explain. Huge push immediately after for their "home" games that are buy ins. They were just looking for more worshippers and fools to support their streams.

Sent the URL and forum location with my post to ACR CS, News and stormers, all via email.

Time will tell if I get a worthwhile reaction. ACR CS is usually very good about replies and the ACR Rep only seems to have the ability to push things up the line. Even the rep gets frustrated by slow non-answers at times.
