I used toplay a ton on Carbon, but lately it doesn't seem to be doing as well though it never seemed great. Loving ACR though. Seems easier. Also smaller tables suit my current BR better. Has anyone played at both and found one to be easier over the other? I've never withdrawn, so I'm not really interested in that aspect so much.

Carbon is way softer than ACR for cash, but you get rakeback at ACR. ACR there is one fish for about ten players.

I have been playing CP for a few years, Started with nothing and worked up to a decent bankroll. Started with DON sitngos, moved to fullring NLH and have lately had good luck with Tournaments. Over the last few months it seems CP has made changes that discourage regular players. You can no longer pick your table at NLH and HUDS/Hand histories were disabled, although they seem to be coming back.

I have signed up on ACR and would be interested to hear whether anyone has built a bankroll through freerolls?

il take carbons graphics over acr anyday-if my choice was based on ease of withdraws, carbon would be dead last of any online poker room-as far which i prefer overall il take acr or blackchip

Carbon has been around longer, has way better graphics. ACR is more trustworthy, easier to make money, has freerolls and promotions.

Have any of the people that are saying Carbon is good ever had a withdrawal from there, people are still waiting for withdrawals some over 1 year.

To me I prefer ACR over carbon. I know I have down loaded a couple sites to check them out. and there was no free rolls at all. So I ended up deleted them and never gone back.

ACR pays out a lot quicker. However, they still have trouble with DDS attacks during their big events.

I logged back into Carbon after not playing for a while (like a few months) and can't believe how user UNfriendly it is. I can't pick my table now? What gives? I have ACR account but no moola there....at least there I can pick my table. I also don't like I can't see who's registered at SNG's at Carbon. Bad move. I guess they're trying to take the Bovada anonymity approach...which I didn't like either.

I'm in the US but possibly moving in the next couple years for my companies expansions. Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, Germany?

Ok perfect!

What it's going to change are the dep options depending on the country. Please note that if you are planning to move, let our sec dep know in order to avoid any inconvenience on your account, this due to security matters.

Regards

I'm not depositing there or anything but a couple years ago it was the only site I could find that would let me play.

The Merge Software has always been my favorite client software. They used to spread a very nice variety of games. They seem to have dropped all the cheap games, and low buy-ins. There were no freerolls there the last time I looked.

Until maybe September of 2015 their reputation for paying out was terrible. It is still a bad reputation, but we have a thread here with actual first hand reports that show it is a whole lot better than it used to be. But still bottom of the pack.

It may be that they so ruined that reputation, and kept it bad for so long, that they will never, and can never recover. Rather than heap all the blame on Merge, remember that the UEGIA was what caused them the most grief. They dealt with that grief worse than any other site that kept on running.

They still have the best client software tho.

What's the traffic like on ACR, numberwise? There's no telling, in the client.
