I joined ACR a few months ago after leaving Bovada because I don't like not being able to put notes on players and have notes follow them because Bovada is strictly anonymous. I like having a screen name and the software is pretty decent.

Anyways, I noticed that on the river if I bet and get called and I beat my opponent and if they mucked their hand I can't simply click on previous hand in the upper left hand corner to see what he/she called me with. ACR is pretty much the only site I've played on where you can't see that information. Being a US poker player has me a bit handicapped as to my selections of online poker.

Is there a US friendly site where you get a screen name (non Bovada/ignition), where the software is solid and the traffic is up to par?

Do you think ACR will ever change to being able to see mucked called hands??
Even in live games if the action goes to the river and if a hand gets called every player who was dealt a hand at the table has the right to ask to see the hand. Now it is frowned upon as bad etiquette (in live games) but sometimes knowing what kind of calling range someone has can be beneficial for future hands with that opponent. Not having that option online seems kind of odd.

Yes, it is their setting.
you are unable to see the mucked hands, unless players were willing to show them.

for other site, try betonline.

I would throw my hand into the muck pile if anyone asked me to show what I lost with in a live game and also in such a way the no one will know which were my hole cards.

Not having that option at ACR/BCP is more like real live poker.

In a live game do you show what you lost with ?

Live Casino, Some player could insist the dealer show what you muck.
even you throw it, dealer could still show your dead card when asked by some other players.

Like me, I am always insist the dealer, (if I were in the pot, would ask dealer to touch the pile first, kill the hand) show the mucked hands/dead cards:D

Pretty sure the op was talking about if he makes a bet on the river, and gets called by another player, then by rule the op has to show his hand, not the person who called him, but he is looking to find out what he was called by. The only other site where you can see what someone called your river bet with is pokerstars from what I know of.

When it comes to live... If you're bet is called on the river, you are supposed to show your hand. if you muck it bc you were bluffing and know you're beat, then the person who made the call has to revel his/her hand in order to take the pot(in live rooms not online).

he is talking about the person get called, think he is beaten.
just based on the show hand order,

the person who called , and know he was beaten, muck and throw away the hand.
The person who make the bet, have the right to ask dealer to show that hand. but it depends on casino.
if the casino rule are not good, I could switch other casino...:D

I've Never shown a called hand in a Tournament or Cash game. You don't need to. I only play ACR so am not aware of other sites or their rules of play.
Good luck.

Sometimes if I'm trying to establish a table image. Usually no. I have been forced to show my hand because another guy who wasn't even in the hand wanted to see what I was mucking. On those occasions I usually "get even" by doing the same thing to him when he loses a Showdown.

I have always know it as the caller has paid to see the opponents hand, that's where the phrase "pay to look" comes from.

I show some hands.

It bothered me in the beginning of my game on ACR but now I thin is ok to see just a hand who beat you.
And if you lose a hand they can't see your, I think that is a fair.
Maybe is not enough informations for players who use hud but is much fair to players who don't use it.

Unable to see mucked called hands Reply to Thread

I don't know why everyone is crying about having to show their cards-stop bluffing and play better poker then! LOL! Anyways there are Instances where you have to show your hand anyways: In live, if both were allin, sometimes the dealer just make you both show your cards-and a player is allowed to see your hand if you both go to showdown(oh well, we are entitled to it). Also there many online sites where you are able to see mucked hands if you make it to the showdown: betonline, pokerstars, carbonpoker, etc. TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER: I don't like bovada either, due to the anonymous player thing. In addition to the inability to keep notes, also its good to know who may be a potential bot, etc.

ACR not seeing mucked hands.

They've recently changed this feature. I've played this site for a few years and they used to have it on the replay feature where it would show the mucked hand. I don't know why they stopped but I don't like it either. Almost every site I've played on showed it on replay.

At Casino Matrix in san jose where I play the most the other player you were in the hand with (who won) can ask to see the other hand. A lot of people do what you said you'd do. Throw their hand into the muck so they're hand remains a secret.

The best part is when a player asks to see the other players and the player who's been playing for 24 hours and isn't thinking straight turns over their hand and it's the winner! It's hysterical when that happens live and the original winner loses only because he asked to see the 'losers' hand.

Speaking of the replay, is there any chance of ACR actually allowing you to show more than 1 hand in the history replay????? This is friggin annoying!

I thought in live Poker if a person raised the river and you called and lost you could always muck your hand? You are paying to call and see the raisers hand and are under no obligation to show your own.

Not sure why so many online sites reveal mucked hands and in essence they are not mucked then. I wonder if this sometimes leads to people not calling a river bet if they are unsure if they are ahead to avoid revealing their range.
