Hello everyone,

As a USA Poker Player we don't have many choices. I like ACR AND the rakeback but ALL of the tables are like :confused:50%-75% Regs! I have tagged them.
The same people over and over. multi table nit-ting 5NL

Do you think its worth it to play there if you are not a multi-table grinder? This does not leave me with a good Fish% per Table.

Feedback would be appreciated.

Regards,

Gypsy

PS-Does not matter whether its during the AM or PM its always the same group (Session time dependent of course)

100% agree with this.. Makes it nearly impossible to profit cash game... You get 1 random atc player every hour or so who blows their stack in 10 mins, than disappears..

The games are very tough and honestly in my opinion not worth the headache.

I play at ACR/BCP and I've been able to do good at cash tables and MTTs. I have not noticed that most of the players are regs, but it don't matter to me one way or another. All I can really do is play my hand the best way I know how.

Hello Papa and Everyone thank you for your Responses,

I am running in Profit BUT part of making a higher Profit in Poker at any Stake is "Table Selection" and it SHOULD matter to you!

Bad Players + Good Games = Mopping Up

Looking for Tables where the Skill Level is lower than yours is MUCH more profitable than sitting at Tables with Players with equal or better Skill Levels.

Regards,

Gypsy

If you can not notice there are tons of regs you must be playing really low, or on one hell of a heater, it is the same players literally every single day.

What I'm saying is that just because they are regs, does not mean I can't win. And it don't matter what level I play at. It may be different for you.

Besides that, why do you say I must be playing really low? If they are all regs, they should be regs at every level. I guess I just missed the point.

Besides, not like all the regs at the nano's are all that great. I do agree you see many of the same folks accross the cash tables (comes with a small player pool), at least the 2nl i played there recently, but I mean you have to learn to beat regs eventually and if they where really solid regs certainly they would have moved up at least a couple of levels over time.

Playing against stronger players and working on our game to improve our skills and be able to beat them is how we are going to improve. I agree table selection is going to be a boost to the br but certainly if all you do is play soft tables then its going to be difficult to improve and be able to grind up the limits.

Besides as mentioned in my first point, regs can be fish as well and have tilt issues and spew in certain dynamics etc. When regs spazz out its just as good for our br's as playing against the whale's lol.

Yes, there are many of the same players, but I also find this to be true at other sites. For me, its the challenge of getting to the final table. Tuff as it is, it is possible. I have managed to get to the final table and with that said I am by no means a good poker player. I am still in the learning stage and probably will be at that level for along time to come.
Good luck to you on and off the felt!

I play at ACR and find the leg reg is 90~120 min,
IT means at last take 3~4 hours for a tournament.
Now I almost give it up for tournament has more than 500 register.

The OP was talking about "regs" - as in, "regulars". Not registration.

Yes, ACR is filled with nitty regs.

If the regs are mostly nits, wouldn't that make them exploitable? (I'm a nit, so I don't know lol)

If the micro regs on acr are too tough, your game may need a little work. Good luck!

For sure on Bovada. From personal experience, not so much on ACR. ACR is beatable, but the grind seems so slow.

Then again, with the maniacs on Bovada, I've endured some table-smashing bad beats.

Yes, but by far the majority of your winnings come from bad players. The amount nits can lose is far less than any fish, your pulling hairs out over it honestly. A pokerstars player said the games are tougher on WPN than Stars that's pretty crazy.

There is more of everything on poker stars, including fish.
