Holy Christ!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to have a little fun and play the ACR freerolls. Its near impossible to play a normal paced game. EVERY player has to go into the tank for EVERY card.

I just went all in to purposely lose my chips with 7-2 off just to get the hell out.

People cannot be that stupid that they need all this time to figure out a decision. When the table is 5 handed and you're in position and 4 people before you took 1 minute each to make a decision, you should already have you button pushed.

Honest to God, people are idiots. They take the fun out of the game

I play a freeroll every day. And I get pleasure from it. There is nothing idiotic about anything. Just the strategy of playing freerolls is special. Perhaps, only in the final table will something remotely resemble real poker. But it is not exactly.

During the later stages of the tournament short stacks stall the game on purpose so they play less hands and maybe have a better chance to sneak into the money. That is not tanking. I agree with you that it can be annoying, but considering how fast internet poker is anyways in comparison with live poker, you don't really have much to complain about.

Tanking once in a while is alright, sometimes you gotta go for that beer. But, if you're running the clock out every hand through the whole game it can be really annoying. I can understand the tanking at bubbletime though, it's almost expected.

Some players could be playing multiple games, as well as having bad internet connection that causes lagging. I doubt anyone is doing it personally to make YOUR freeroll experience a bad time for you. It's called online poker. Get used to it or get out of the game;)

I see your point. I'm not used to Internet poker. It's a whole different animal than the live game.

Same at the micro cash games. It's amazing. Just endless tanking lol. I had one player go into the tank and finally call...they had top boat aces full of queens but took them nearly all of their time bank to call.

That's all true. Tbh the one situation that still tilts me is when a person plays regular speed when they decide to play a hand...but when they decide to not play a hand either pre-flop or post-flop they never actually fold...they just let it time out and auto-fold. It just doesn't take that much effort to actually click the fold button.

I heard live poker tournament are much worse with tanking problems. I'v been playing a lot of tourneys on ACR and have not noticed tanking issues until the bubble of course.

Tanking

If you have played in the cash games, and you let the time run out, they remove you for one orbit with a little warning pop up.
Maybe they should do that in the tournaments, just a thought,

This is partly why I don't even bother playing the $10 ACR freerolls.

Many times it's because people are sad little trolls and they know it makes people mad. Any opportunity to try to share their misery with others online is an opportunity they will not let pass. When people are testing my patience by taking forever every hand in a tournament I just find something else to do while I'm playing and then as a result, I'm going slow also and I don't even realize when they are doing it. Strangely, many times they speed up. I've seen people post about one or two slow hands. I'm not talking about that, that's people taking a leak or getting a sandwich. It's the people who do it every hand.

Many people are quite critical.
I've seen all kinds of delays from system upgrades of any kind or industry.

Nice to see ACR offering some temporary play, including $50 freerolls.

There is a logical way to respond to any situations beyond your control.
Go all in with 7-2 or wait for QQ+. By folding, someone can wait for a premium hand, multitask and survive about 100 hands with most of your bankroll in tact. Your aces are then staked, you chip up and then have plenty more play options. If you lose the freeroll, thank goodness there was no buy-in and it was not that serious to begin with. Survive to the mid-rounds and you will probably have some chips to play with, along with callers to provide action for your better hands. I've found wild freerolls to be an easy way to go deep into tourneys (all while minimizing time invested).
