How many of you are playing in the ACR $1000 and $2000 Guaranteed Newbie MTTs? And if you are playing how are you doing? I find they are a good way to build my BR. Hope to see you there and good luck at the tables.:D:D

newbie games

They occur often daily on ACR. Its a good idea to join up near registration closure. I've never ranked in one of these but have played in a few. Best of luck to you!

They are played several times daily. Sometimes I play 3 or 4 a day. Doing rather well but you do need to play careful for some there don't know the word fold. Hope to see you at the tables and best of luck.:D:D

I have cashed in all but 2 games that I have played. You may want to try signing up in the last minute of the last level of registration and your chances of making the money will be much better. I play most of the game but play thees tourneys very tight. Hope to see you at the tables and best of luck.:D:D

Thanks for the advice. On average, how long does it take before the money bubble burst? Is there a criteria to qualify for the newbie tourny, or is it called that due to the low buy-in?

Warning - the Newbie $2000 has 5 hours (25 levels) of late registration, so it lasts about 10 hours...

UGH!

I was thinking of depositing to play in these. But now, I'm not so sure. Have you guys made any deposits here? What method? Any issues to be aware of?

Open question for those that play on ACR a lot. The $1,000 GTD tournament says that the prize pool is $940.03. I thought that if there are less money in the prize pool, then there would be a $59.97 overlay which would be matched by ACR to get a $1,000 prize pool. Does this happen on all the tournaments? How can they get away with that?

Seems like that is the way it goes. If they go over the guaranteed amount, then of course, the prize fund goes up. The $100 GTD today had 765 buy-ins/rebuys, so the prize pool on the tournament lobby says $76.50, but since it was $100 guaranteed, then the difference would be the overlay.

Thanks for the reply. I just learned how to do math, haha. Even though the prize pool is less than the guarantee, the payouts match the guarantee. So they are matching the guarantee.

It is for all players. However, you can register with TBs that only new depositors are able to optain with the Welcome Package promo on ACR or you can also register with $$$

Hey, how come I didn't get any tourny bucks when i signed up for ACR?

Hello ACR Rep,

I never received any tourny bucks when I signed up for ACR in February.... Was there some little step I overlooked? Could you help me find and redeem them as I've deposited over 200 bucks in my ACR account since I signed up. Thanks

When you deposit for the first time you have to go to rewards tab and click 'special offers' From there you click on cards they give you (You get one a day) Where it randomly gives you $1-$5(or $9 can't remember) TB's.

If you miss a day or forget to click on it you lose the card.

Depends on the number of entry's. Saturday one of the $2000 games I played payed 180 places. On the pay 81 to 126 places and they are a 0lot of fun for a decent price. That game Saturday I coached a 75 yo woman that I play live tourneys with to a 20th place finish(she couldn't figure out online game). :D:D

All players are welcome but the buy in is low so in the beginning its almost like a freeroll, you will know when someone has an ace by the all-in. Hope to see you at the tables and best of luck.:D:D

i actually think the opposite, even in early stages people are shoving hands like A10, KQ, it's easy to double up for free.
