what do you all think of absolute poker? I signed up a long time ago and i had problem with there server it would never open up. then my computer crashed and wasnt going to redownload them on this computer until I saw there name here for u.s. friendly. So I downloaded it last night. I found there absolute dream poker freeroll and entered. you only get one oppurtunity to play it. total players about 650 and made it down to 26 and was 26 of 26 I hit a monster and was well back into the game and all of the sudden it said i wasnt connected to there server. so I checked my internet connection and it was good I restarted absolute and was taken to a table with no players. I could see my name and my chips getting laid into. then I disconnected internet and restarted same thing. I just kept trying to get there and it kept showing me an empty table. So I found the servers internet connection check and it said I was connected to there server I looked for a way to contact support. all they have is email support I HATE THAT! emailed support and a little while later connected with 5000 blinds and only 6000 in chips so when i lost I emailed support again and still have gotten no response. If a site that wants us to play our money with them doesnt offer live support at least they should give us all the courtesy of a response I played long and well to make it that far.

I would like more feed back about to know whether there site is even worth my time.

Sounds like a nightmare ... i empathize with you having problems especially while in a tournament with a big stack.

I've never had to deal with their customer support so I can't help you there.

Pretty much all I can say about AP is that I like it. I've not had problems either depositing or withdrawing .... not that I've withfrawn much. Once actually :D

AP was the first site I knew of that offered freerolls for real money and I used to play it often when I was financially strapped and couldn't afford to deposit anywhere.

Maybe I'm just used to it I like the place to each thier own.

Ive never liked absolute poker, the software is terrible and i think you have to wait like 50 days to withdraw freeroll winnings..

I didn't like Absolute until Saturday. In the OFC tourney. They have come a long way since I essentially gave up on them last year.

They still have a few specific quirks I dislike, like the chat action, and unsizable windows. They do have a nice instant hand history, but not where I would like a button to be (it's in the options).

At least on Saturday, the software was purring along quite nicely, with none of the funky delays that used to drive me nuts.

As primarily a Full Tilt player, where my biggest complaint these days would be Poker Trackers inability to easily incorporate tourney details, I find FT to be the current most enjoyable sit.
