I am looking for a free site to practice with live players at a normal speed without bot players to screw up the betting. is this just a pipe dream? Vegas world seemed a good choice until the play freezes when you beat one of their bots.

Why is everyone so convinced about bots. Play freerolls on AC or BOL to hone your skills!

Yeah just play Stars play money or something - I'm not sure what the issue is?

Not sure what the concern with bots is either: it's not like play money / freeroll players necessarily play like real money players either so the learning opportunities are already limited...

I used to do ACR, but they decreased their free rolls/ OR I just don't have the access I used to. On PokerGlobal I can find passwords for free rolls on ACR that I do NOT see on the ACR poker client.

WHAT GIVES??

I'm a recent US Army retiree. I'm 39, a decent mind, and a whole lotta free time. I'm trying to put in the right kind of time. What's the best way? Should I stay away from live casinos until I've a relatively easy time online?

Is anyone here actually finding it easy to beat the online games consistently? Even for small stakes?

Play money and "practice" sites most of the time are worthless. You are not learning anything. If you want to learn you need to have something at stake (both you and the villain). The only "practice" I could recommend is to play freerolls. They aren't the best games but you need to crawl before you walk. Playing these games you win some money. You could then start playing .01/.02 or small tournaments.

Either start saving and make a 25.00 deposit or just stick to freerolls.

I started on ACR from the ground up playing freerolls and it greatly helped me advance my game the players in there are the weakest opponents you will see so it allows you to realize how to beat bad players. Also there is often freerolls worth more then the classic ones and if you can pull a win in those. Then reg a 25gtd and run it up

Here I like playing on Americas Card and intertops, Triobet, unibet poker, in all these rooms it's good to play +, but there are no bots, it means you have to work on yourself.
