9days on - still waiting for cake to process my withdrawal. Avoid cake in my opinion.

Cake are really beginning to rattle my cage. I can't wait to get my money and uninstall this terribly bad slow software and crap withdrawal processing times.

Their site states 24-48 hours when I withdrew and several emails later, I'm still waiting and all they keep saying to me is,

Hello Benjamin

Thank you for your email. At this point we do not have a definitive timescale for these payments and i would not like to increase your frustration by giving you a date for payment that comes and goes, we are currently working on this issue and hope to bring you some more information as soon as possible. Sorry again for the unfortunate delay.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Kind Regards

Liam

Now, their replies and customer service in getting back to you is very good, usually replied within an hour but what good is this to me or anyone? I advise anyone who is tempted to join cake to not bother. Their software is dreadfully slow and games are dead. I honestly think cake is definetly on it's way out, I'm sure they are stuck for money.

They even lied to me in a previous email stating it was because of black friday there is back log of payment withdrawals to do. A quick search around shows this has been happening for a while, even a month ago someone posted on a different forum that they are still waiting after 7 days for the ball to start rolling, so an obvious lie by them to try and keep me slightly happy.. I replied to them telling them this is isn't the case, so please just be honest and the reply I got was this,

Hello Benjamin,

Thank you for your email. I'm afraid we are unable to comment on rumors or posts in any forums. As we have said in our previous emails we are doing our best to process your cashout as soon as possible. Thanks again for your patience.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Now, I'm going to give up and emailing them now, as if anything they might start delaying mine even more but I most definitely do believe they are struggling to cash out a small BR and get funds available. It's only a few hundred dollars at that. They then "thank me" for my patience, I've made it perfectly clear I'm not happy, let alone being patient.

Oh and the most annoying thing about it all is the way they leave open the option for you to cancel you withdrawal process. I commented on this to them and said it was a joke, trying to lure people who get bored waiting and just cancel the withdrawal. I said it was terrible and this option should be removed. You know what they said to me?

Hello Benjamin,

Thank you for your email. We can confirm that we are making every effort to minimize any delays and we do appreciate your frustration in this matter.

We can assure you that there is no ploy to get players to cancel their withdrawals. We are required to leave the option to cancel available as some players do not wish to wait or would prefer to cancel a withdrawal rather than make a new deposit.

We completely understand that the situation is not ideal and we are doing all we can to ensure that your delay is minimized.

Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Kind Regards,
Jack

How hilarious is that? Talk about contradicting yourselves.

"This is no ploy to get people to cancel" " It's a required option we put in place for people to cancel who do not wish to wait and have to deposit again" < < LoL, so so funny.. I mean come on, why would someone who was withdrawing wanting to make a deposit again so soon after? Lets be honest cake - what you mean is, like I say. People get bored of waiting to withdraw and put the money on a decent website so cancel and continue playing.

The question also beggers, how on earth can they be delayed post "black friday" when their traffic was even lower at that point?.. I'm sure if everyone made a withdrawal request on the site on the same day, they could have the man power to get everyone's withdrawal done on the same day the activity is so low...so yeah definitely a cash flow problem.

So my advice to eager U.S beavers wanting to play real cash games, avoid cake at all costs.

What cashout option did you use?You didnt say.My last cashout only took 2 days to get in my quicktender account.Checks do take longer.
Altho I have cashed out many times there, that may help make things speedier for them.If this is your first cashout,it might be longer for sure.
Another thing,I havnt cashed out since Cake was sold to PokerListings,so this might be a big part of the problem too.
Members here who have cashed at cake more recently can prolly help you more than myself, with cashout time info.,depending on your cashout method.

Same here...waiting over 10 business days and still waiting!! I asked the support folks to escalate to their management/supervisor and this is the reply I got:
Hello Sanjay,

Thank you for your email. I understand your frustration. WIthdrawals in general are running behind. We don't want to give you a timeframe that we cannot guarantee but we are working to make sure it won't take much longer. If there was someone I could pass this on to for you who would have the funds with you right now, I would. I'm afraid it is just a matter of waiting at this stage though. My apologies.

After telling them I would leave the site and to let their management know, this is the reply I get. Strange how this can be escalated but not the slow processing!!

Thank you for your email. I will ensure your feedback is passed on to management. We are working on this and hoping to return to the timeframes that we and our customers expect shortly.

More problems with cake withdrawals

I too have been having problems with cake poker when trying to withdraw funds. My first attempt was to try and withdraw via moneybookers, i waited over 3 weeks and recieved nothing apart from standard reply emails stating they where having trouble processing the withdrawels on their site.
It made no difference how rude or offensive i was when composing these emails, i was always met by the same automated reply.
I then cancelled the withdrawal ($50) and the money was back within my account that instant, so they had not even started processing. I doubled my money which gave me enough to withdraw to my visa debit card, i did this 6 days ago and am still awaiting any funds to appear in my account.........
Has anyone else received their money and if so how did they manage to get it off these thieves?

I joined cake a long time ago and I did made 2 or 3 successful cash outs, but I did a few months ago, so, I don't know if they are facing money problems now. All of them, took, at least, 5 business days to be processed to my neteller account.
