Hello Chatters!
During last "treasure quest" promotion I was under the impression that something wasn't quite random on daily spins and prizes. I mean I opened all chest during the promo and all contained the minimum. As for the daily spins I seemed to hit blanks almost every day. Outta twenty five spins all were blanks, bar two or three "$1.500 lucky chip" tourney tickets. I wrote to support about it and I got the following response:
88800

As there is no data base for that (PT4 does not count spins), I couldn't prove anything. It was all just a feeling. But it kept growing and at some point I decided to try and document my odd feeeling. So I decided to take screenshots from the spin results, including the date. Here are the first:

88801
88802
88803
88804

Again four blanks, one "lucky chip".
As for the missing dates, one was probably another blank, as the wheel didn't move, but when I refreshed I was supposed to have already played for the specific date and one day I forgot to spin.
So, in total we have eleven or twelve blanks and three "lucky chip" tickets out of fifteen tries.

The wheel is divided in nine sectors and as there is no mechanic way to control the spin, when you press the button, all sectors are equally probable to show up, right?
Now, how random do you find all that?

P.S. I do not complaint for the prizes, it is a gift anyway (no teeth btw), but I felt a little insulted by the condescending response about my "luck" and the use of a trusted RNG etc.

No, the spins are not random. I remember seeing in terms and conditions of a spin promotion that some spots are "weighted".

It means that the odds are greater that you will hit "no win" or the $1500 freeroll tickets.

The odds of getting the best prize on the wheel are probably one in a million. I think there is a page with the exact odds somewhere.

I am like you don't think they are random I have had nearly every day nothing or a freeroll ticket only once a big fish ticket and that was a $5.50.

That makes perfect sense. Moots! I probably didn't notice it. On the other hand, the answer I got form support didn't refer me to the T&Cs or the percentages. It only assured me of the randomness! That's what ticked me off! If they wrote something like: "don't worry, 95% is the percentage of blanks" or "all real gifts are only 5%" etc., I wouldn't bother at all. A gift is a gift. The "poor, unlucky sunnava" approach was insulting!

Hi.
You just do not have luck.
Yesterday I got a "big fish" ticket for $ 33. This is the first time such an expensive ticket for half a year. Given that this is free, I am saying that this is a great promotion.
Good luck.

The odds of winning at the Lucky Chip differ for different types of prizes, and may also vary between players, depending on players use of the Website\ Site
I don't know how much you play, but in all the spin promotions over years I had solely minimum prizes when I wasn't that active (and still they sometimes rewarded me with something more valuable than a freeroll ticket).

Before 888 bumped me up to elite I think the best spins I had were a couple of $5 BLAST tickets. I got the occasional $1 BLAST ticket, $5 casino freeplay or $3 sports bet sprinkled in every so often too, but the majority were small freeroll tickets.
No wins were 1 or maybe 2 per week on average.

They definitely weight the spins differently once they move you to elite, I've kept a daily record of my spins for the last 50 days and while I've had some bad runs of "no wins" I haven't hit a lucky chip ticket even once, most of my spins are quite good. I just hit my 3rd $16.50 Big Fish ticket to go with 2 $5.50 Big fish tickets as well as $5 and $1 BLAST tickets and casino freeplays...

Day 1 - No Win
Day 2 - No Win
Day 3 - No Win
Day 4 - $10 Casino Bonus
Day 5 - $1 BLAST ticket
Day 6 - XL Qualifier ticket
Day 7 - $12k Pirates Rewards ticket
Day 8 - $5.50 Big Fish Ticket
Day 9 - $12k Pirates Rewards ticket
Day 10 - No Win
Day 11 - $5 BLAST ticket
Day 12 - $12k Pirates Rewards ticket
Day 13 - $10 sports bet
Day 14 - $10 casino freeplay
Day 15 - No Win
Day 16 - No Win
Day 17 - $10 casino freeplay
Day 18 - $10 casino freeplay
Day 19 - No Win
Day 20 - No Win
Day 21 - No win
Day 22 - $12k Pirates Rewards ticket
Day 23 - $5 BLAST ticket
Day 24 - No Win
Day 25 - No Win
Day 26 - No Win
Day 27 - No Win
Day 28 - No Win
Day 29 - $16.50 Big Fish ticket
Day 30 - No Win

Good Morning. I almost always win the ticket for the $ 1500 tournament. Really left some blank and no other prize of greater value.

I think 888 should tell you what the odds are and what the winners of each prize were, maybe that market needs some government regulation.

Congratulations! Maybe you're the first one I've ever seen to really win a grand prize. I like 888poker, and especially this tournament. Good luck!

If we do a comparison with other online poker rooms, we can verify that the 888 presents the best deals, it is really a room that tends to attract more and more players and to be able to present bigger and bigger prizes.

I agree with you, 888 is definitely the most generous room.

Actually I made a quote in my initial post of 888 terms and conditions for this promo (should have not make it like an ordinary quote cause it looks like no one pays attention). So what you win in the wheel depends not only on odds but on you as well, how you use their site. So what I meant was that if you don't win much in the wheel, probably you are not that active user (play only freerolls and maybe something else occasionally). At least this logic was true for me over the years I played/not played much there with the rare exceptions.

The spins aren't random but I've no problem with that as 888 promos are fairly generous anyway.

Hello.
During the month, I also can not get anything. In general, no tickets or bonuses. It is very annoying.

100% - it's not accidental. The wheel is probably based on the winning algorithm for each of the shares.

At the beginning of the lucky spin I won 2 lucky chips once a week. The last 3 or 4 weeks I got nothing. It's astonishing to read, that somebody really won a big fish ticket there.
I'm sure you deposited recently, didn't you?
