888 Poker terrible experience

I played in pokerstars for years, nothing big (micro stakes and small buy in tournaments) and after reading reviews I decided to give 888 a shot and made a deposit.
I won't be to specific but heavy and unstable windows client, unreliable support, hard to sell $, I left 17 tournament tickets there and will NEVER come back.
Now I am playing in TigerGaming, which I know changed the owner and I only find old reviews... Any of you have had good or bad experiences about Tiger?

What you have described about 888 is the total opposite experience as I have had with them I have nothing to complain about 888, why do you need to sell $, do you have a problem making withdrawal?

You no doubt got the tournament tickets for free by spinning the wheel that pops up on logging on to 888 so what have you lost by leaving them there.

I deposited and received the message that the code was not valid for me. I received and offer in my e-mail that does not apply to my account.
One or two days that both my and my brother's account were locked because i used my brother's card to deposit that is okay security measures so I uploaded the documents at the same time as he did. His account was instantly unblocked and I tried to talk a lot of times using live chat until they just did not allow me to speak anymore and closed the session. I got my account unlocked after about 48 hours...
That's it man, I am glad your experience is good with them I am just relating my issue because I never expected this from the second largest poker site available.

I play on Tigergaming and I think it is a very good poker site. Withdrawals are super fast (they advertise that they will double the payout if it takes more than 24 hours).

Yes, they are on the same network (Chico Network) but I would never play both accounts in the same tournament or on the same cash table. I think you get banned for that or they might close one of your accounts, something like that.

There are of course exceptions and misunderstandings everywhere, but I personally like 888. In this case, PS is a very serious and authoritative site with a large audience.

Zorba looking great, even when I am not sure what is it Cards? Did you won it somehow, or they gave it to you just for playing?

Although there is nothing special about 888 client, I wouldnt go so far to complain about it. The other thing is 888 experience. I still cant avoid impression the site is rigged. I currently play at PS and partypoker and both these sites to me are honest. 888 is different. I am not completely abandoning it yet, maybe will give it a one more try later.

Thanks, I think this was one of the better prizes they had, iirc the $50 cash was the best they had.

I was close to winning that in a couple of those games.

i´ve never have problems with ps is a safety plataform i am not interested to play in another plataform i am very happy with this.

I think the tickets they give you expire if you don't use them in 15 (or in 30 ???) days . Why didn't you play them ?? This is F R E E money

Unreliable support ... What exactly happenned to you , what experience did you have with them , can you please tell us ?

If you ever get disconnected , go to the browser version , http://ndl.triple8holdem.com/ , log in , and you won't encounter any problems (after some time you can try to return to the .exe )

I think 888 is great. It has treated me really good with the freerolls. 20 cents here and 20 cents there. Small sums but a lot of free games. I have yet to withdraw. I think I am up to 10 dollars or something like that.

I like they give you tickets - yet don't run a tournys to use them 👎 ten of mine never shown the + button on any day then disappeared glad it was only £10

You have to go looking at what time the tourney are, some are late night for me and others are 9am, I had around 20 of the Golden Showers promo tickets left over from the promo they had recently, I played most nights and sometimes early afternoon and those 20 tickets expired, but i'm not crying about it.

I wonder if the OP will come back to this thread, he had his rant and left by the looks of it.

I never had a problem with 888 poker always a good promotion running support is good cashing out is a little bit slow compared with Stars. I build a bankroll from free rolls and cash out later.

I really like 888 but I have had some issues with them. Nothing huge and I still really like the site.

I do find their support to be slow though and I have had trouble getting answers to simple questions a few times. Don't remember what the question was now but I remember being shocked by how poor the support was in dealing with a simple request.

The one thing I dislike most about 888 is that it cost you more to deposit there than on PS, about $1 more per $50 if I remember correctly. And when you go to withdraw, you get less than what it cost you to deposit. I deposited $120 and withdrew $120 on the same day. My bank currency is €. It cost me €112.87 to deposit the $120 and I got paid out €103.67 with both transactions taking place on the same day. Wasn't too impressed with that.

I sound like I hate 888 from this long boring post but I don't. Their promotions make up for all of the above easily. Competition is a lot softer than PS also.

Everyone ends up with about 20 extra tickets at the end of all promotions and i find this hard to read as i think 888 poker is 1 of the best sites around, offering all kinds of games and also they give away $1 or 10c tickets also which you can use to buy into the 1k Goldfish games, when my account got hacked by my own Nephew who had gambling habit they actually done an internal investigation and seen that he played different stakes, etc, and that it wasn't m usual routine and gave me back over $100 as they said they valued me as a customer even though i had only ever made 1 minimum deposit for sin like $20 or sin and built up my BR over time, i hardly ever hear anything bad about 888 and their support is also fantastic, sorry to hear you had such a bad experience.

100% agree with you on 888
They do a hard sell(same as unsolicited cold calls)
to deposit & if you don't
they will stop your freerolls ticket
Also If your in Australia its very very hard to get a game!
that are Suitable for our timezone

And the cards(mainly the river!) seem to favor Russian or German players also never seen so many player(donks fish)Either go all in or Call A big raise with crap starting hand eg 2h-8c or 2d-7s etc & get "Lucky"
