Be aware that 888 have removed some freerolls.
One of them is the 4000 usd freeroll running saturday.
the 2000 usd freroll has moved from 16:10 ET to 18.10 ET where the 4000 usd freeroll normally runs.
I asked 888 support why, and why they did not notify their customers, but support did not know.

Actually 888 did send a mail about the changes in Club benefits from the start of the May. I did receive it but it was a simple mail stating "888 has change its club structure and rewards program from May. The updates can be found in the lobby."
So everything is missing from the lobby right now like Level 60+ tourneys.
It will be interesting to see what happens in the end of the May. How many tourneys we get.

The most of the support staff is working from their home due to covid issue. So we can expect the delay in customer service.

OK, I never got that mail, but it is good that someone did.
The website still mentions the 4000 usd freeroll as part of the program, so not even 888 knows they removed the tournament :)

Looks like some club money was diverted to the galaxy promotion rewarding those who regularly play couple of dollars worth of buy ins instead.
100k biggest freeroll I have seen since partypoker did a few last year.:)

888 does normally change their reward program in favour for other campains.

Perhaps they have financial problems, and have to cut down?

unexpected move and it seems that poker rooms are in trouble with liquidity, see what happened to MPN, I supose that 888 have some financial issues too

The danish website describing the rewardsystem still describe all the freerolls.
Very unproffesional - 888!

Hi mate.It seems we will have freerolls till Level 40 only..I am about to reach that level but it is a pity for the guys who have reached higher level and can´t play the best freerolls as usual.Maybe after the Galaxy of Freerolls promotion ends those freerolls be back..Good luck to the ones who have that $100,000 freeroll ticket.See you there!

im starting to no more like 888 more and more. apart from bad customer service they now cut wherever they can. the rake there is very high and the reward programm gives almost nothing back. instead of updating the old mobile App so we can finally multitable, they decided to put out this new, more or less bad software. i dont get these guys at all to be honest  also why is it so hard to explain what exactly are the changes in the vip club in the email they sent to us?

Although unarguable sad, it's not surprising, really. 888 Poker is probably the only poker site with promotions which are encouraging loyal/active players these days. And seeing that for them 2019 was bad in revenues poker-wise, the cutting of the budget for the promos was predictable.

And even after the cut they remain the most generous room - some Poker Club freerolls are left and other daily freerolls are regularly running. No other room give away to players as much.

Well! I think we still need to wait for the end of the May to see what happens.
Though I do not think that 888 is going to remove the Level 100+ tourney as it is a Monthly based tourney though Level 60 and 80th one are in danger.
The interesting thing is to see what happens to the $25k loyalty tourney!!!

If you look at your tickets you'll see that for the Super Saturn $100K tourney it says "No Tournaments Available".

And the SS $100 K is now Day 2 tournament. I don't know what this means.

I asked 888 support why they are dropping freerols in their reward program, and they answered that they could not tell me :)
That is not proffessional - is it?

I got that email they were talking about with the changes that were coming. For me it made no difference as I am no where near the over 40 level. I do agree with those that said that at least 888 Poker is still offering freerolls. pokerstars is as tight as a frog's ars when it comes to giving freerolls nowadays. If it was not for Cardschat and casino.org you would not see a freeroll on Pokerstars.

Yes you are kind of right. Compared to other sites 888 still has a lot of freerolls. BUT the rake there is very high, higher than on other sites. The club freerolls are also part of the rewards system there. So if you produce a lot of rake and not playing microstakes, those freerolls are like a joke. Now they also changed the bonus system so only losing players can use bonuses. Not like where they are heading and to be honest i think they are a bit deceiving :boring:

Well, in theory they were a part of rakeback system, but I doubt that the winning cash players were playing these freerolls either way, maybe only a monthly 100+ one. So for them there is 0 change. Those were either for mtts low stakes regs or all other players as a way to go from zero to hero if you take a good place. And you didn't have to proceed on generating rake in order to get access to those freerolls, you could have reached the highest level a year ago and play only them for the year and win some. Quite generous in the current environment and therefore non-existent anywhere else.

As to were they are heading... Well, that's were online poker has been heading towards for some time now, so they are just catching up. Sad reality :(

I'm not disagreeing that the changes are bad, just wanted to give another perspective on things, as why be mad at something that was and still remains to be better than alternative "offers". I guess, for some players the freerolls are still good, and for all others who think they are too small, it's time to finally accept that you ain't getting any additional buck in online poker no more aside from your own winnings.

I agree, I'm one of the low stake players, and the winnings from the freerols are a big help for me to stay close to zero. I predict that I'll have a bigger loss without the freerolls.
The freerolls is also causing to play 1/2c cask at 888 for 6,25% rake instead of using Pokerstars only paying 3,5%.
Will I continue this silly behaveur without the freerolls?

Just letting you all know that a 80+ 10k freeroll is scheduled for tomorrow. Accidentally noticed it myself, thought it was removed.

Well there was a level 50 and 60 freeroll today too... they were back. Saw them last second because i taught they were gone just soon enough to get in.

Maybe it's now once a month?

Looks like they're monthly now indeed.

Thanks, didn't know the 50+ was back too, I only was able to jump into 60+ when it had been running for almost 40 minutes already, but I am still in :D

There's a $2k level 40 and $5k level 60, but no level 50 now.

Somehow I'm still in the level 60. I only had 1800 chips after the bubble then shot up to 20k.:D

Yah Level 80+ is due today and the max players limit is 5000 only. So an early registration is must to play in that.
