Im baffled by the FPP system on 888 poker. I play regularly but my balance crawls up unbearably slowly and I can't work out how they allocate their points? Ive tried searching their faqs and forums but to no avail.
I play ring games and tournaments and sit n gos but am clueless which earns more. Can you help shed some light on this?

Hey There! Sorry for the late reply but someone just drew my attention to this thread!

FPP's, today termed Status Points in general are calcluated very simply:
$1 in rake = 2 status points.

Nevertheless, please find some links tha thelp explain:
Accumulating Status Points:

Status points vs. Reward Points:

Keeping Track of points:
http://888-external-en.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3348/kw/status points

thanks!

Yah, it's next to impossible to find that info. on the site.
imo, you're far better off playing Tournaments to gain pts... micro level ring tables takes an eternity (ie. 1hr. of 10-tabling 2nl tables, you get ~2, 2.5pts.) Bonuses are impossible to clear & rakeback at the micro tables is ridiculously low. Super soft tables though.. in both ring & Tournament play (Like no other site I've ever seen before... I was beating 2nl at over 100bb/100 for 10,000 hands)

so far i have 150 FPP's on Lucky ace poker which is a sister site of 888 Poker. Every 1000 FPP's earned equals $10 in cash back rewards. It takes a little time to earn the points but there are other rewards like the bronze freerolls and the weekly bronze $750 freeroll...

please note that if you go to the 24/7 support link at the top of the 888poker.com website and click on 888poker, you can pretty much look up anything there and find answers to your queries.

feel free to contact me with any quesitons.
