Got fed up with the amount of suckouts in the $10 SnGs, and did something I probably shouldn't have - moved up two levels

I was really tilting after losing 4 $10s to bad beats, and decided "F***k it! I'm movin' up!". Luckily by the time the sng filled up, I had cooled down, and had actually become hyper-focused.:bandit:...:stoned:...;)

Anyways I was really high, and decided after watching that hilarious cash game video that Dorkus posted, that I'd make my own video with commentary and all.

After recording the whole thing, and deciding that my commentary was ridiculous, I took the audio out - but here's the video if anyone's interested.

$30+$3 6-handed SnG at Titan Poker:

[broken link~tb]

I think it's about 180 MB large (sorry, I tried to make it as small as possible), wmv format, and is about 45 mins long.
I used the same program that cash game tilter used (camtasia demo)

Any commentary/suggestions/opinions/criticisms are very welcome. I'd actually like to hear what you all think of how I played.

Aw, come on man. Is there any way you can put the audio back in, or is it gone forever? I want to hear your commentary.

Any way I can skip the intro to MEGAUPLOAD? You might want to check the link, Chuck. All I get is a big page ad for MEGAUPLOAD.

Why don't you put the commentary in? I can hear it now. "God damn it! I can't catch a pair to save my life!"

my commentary really was nothing...probably would have made the video less interesting, i'm sure.
Just me basically talkin to myself lol
it also made the file twice as large had I left it in.

but ya, it is deleted because i cut it out of the production file

sorry guys - didnt realize they had that irritating intro thing.
must be their way of slipping in their advertisements, as if their main page didn't have enough...next time i'll use a different site ;)

and no, i wasn't freakin out like that dude in the other vid, Tim :p
the commentary was really boring, so i took it out

oh...if you're still getting the ad with the talking, click the link at the top right (continue to MegaUpload or something like that), then at the top right again, there is a typing box asking you to type in the letters you see and a download button beside it.
Their site is a pain in the butt...hard to find out how to download and upload the files.

p.s. the file's only 75MB

You can have the chat box on the right in Titan? How do you do that?

Wow, First you get Pocket Jacks, then Pocket Aces, and now Pocket Kings! You must of been a little uncomfortable when one of the players went all in with A, Q.

:( Ouch! A big raise on A, 7 offsuit and your opponent re-raised. Tough break there! Good thing you caught a set of threes to recover from that one.

Bad flop for you Chuck when you called a re-raise with Pocket 7s. I would have folded too when the opponent went all in.

Strangely, the Pocket 7s helped you later with the all in.

Great playing Chuck! Congrats! But now, I know how you play certain hands in certain situations. Care for a heads up match sometime?

Shoot. On the KJ diamonds with the AQ diamonds on the board... a shame the guy was betting it hard. I just know your 10d was coming on the river.

EDIT: Watched the whole thing now. Well done! The only move you made that I really disagreed with (not results oriented, I swear, I was thinking it before the results) was when it was three-handed 100/200 blinds. You were on the button and you raised to 600 with J6 offsuit. The whole being aggressive thing is great. My problem is that shortstacked Drew was in the big blind. He had 450 chips left, so the 200 chip big blind meant he already had almost 1/3 of his stack invested. It seemed as though you were challenging him which, with J6 offsuit, I didn't really understand. The object would seem to be to get the other players to fold, but with the likelihood of a call that high, I didn't like the move so much.

Good point combuboom.
I like to be the aggressor, but in those circumstances it's probably the proper play to fold that hand.
My thought process was that basically I'm ahead of any lower cards he might have, I'm a dog to overcards or a Q9 type hand, but not by much.
This is probably where I should fold because aggression is not the focus. Hand strength is. If he's a decent player (which he was) then he should know that he's got to push with just about anything in that situation. With that in mind, I have very little fold equity which is the main benefit of playing aggressively.
In this situation, I'm basically forcing myself into a hand where I'm either a dog, a huge dog (to big pocket pair) or a slight favourite.

I think I was in the right with the other Jx raise though (same thing; not being results oriented ;)) - OP had about 1200 with 150/300 blinds i think, and I was small blind and raised him (minraise by accident). I think that the fold equity that I do have here makes this the right play. He's not going to call all of his chips on the bubble with a Q9 or J7 type hand.

Again, good eye and good point combu ;)
But may I repeat that i was not completely sober and maybe felt a little over-aggressive near the end;)

Here's another one if anyone's interested. I've been playing pretty solid in my opinion the last few, and this is a perfect example of how my ideal SnG would go. Minus the results of course (sorry, gave away the ending ;)).
And no, no audio on this one either - my bro was home and I definitely didn't want to do a poker commentary while he was here lol.
I'm just havin fun with the camtasia demo before my 30 day trial is up.:)

Opinions, comments and criticisms welcome as always.
