Just played a rebuy tournament at poker stars where one out of every five $$$,s was taken .
Is this now the norm . Seems alot to me .
Is there no regulation stating the maximin amount allowed to be taken per dollar .

I'm not sure what game you are playing, but I would assume that yes 20% rake is deadly. I would get out of that game as fast as you can.

I don't think you pay rake again when you rebuy/add-on.

So, the initial buy-in rake might be high, but will drop if you RB/AO.

Of course, 20% rake is very much. Anyway, as it seems, you are not right and this is not 20%. I,m sure, no one will play any game with such a rake.

20% is way too high. Most MTT's are 10%. $1.10 for a $1 tourney. I would not play if the buy in fee was 20%. I have never seen any that high.

If you did not agree with the rake why you played it?

20% of rake kills the game, I think.

Was same every rebuy and same for add on . Total prize pool minus total pool = $1 every $5 :banghead:

10% is the uppermost limit of the rake an online player should accept, 20% is just a rip off. Plus not to mention that rakeback system is pretty much ruined at Poker Stars
