So its the new year and I plan on making the minimum deposit on Bovada and trying my best not to bust it this year. I prefer MTTs over cash, but I know $20 for MTTs is to risky. Still pretty risky considering cash games start at 5nl.

Brings me to my question. How would u try and run up your $20 on Bovada?

Bovada is very soft. Why not try the $1 45 man SNGs? They run fairly often and shouldn't be too hard to get a positive ROI in if you're a good player.

They also have $1 9 man SNGs as well, or $2 18 person "beginner" SNGs. I know that's a bit aggressive for any type of real bankroll management, but if you can afford to redeposit if you bust it all, that's probably what I'd do.

How often would you say the 9 man SNGS fill up? Right now, Im leaning towards cash games because I know every time i log in, I can jump on 4 tables of 5nl pretty quickly.

I would suggest to grind out a few micro mtt but there aren't many micro mtt on Bovada, I mean, they have em, but not not many earlier in the day. I'm eastern so all good guarantees tend to start around 8-9 pm.which is 5-6 pm for all you westerns. I tend to go on slides on Bovada because I always find myself buying into $10 and $20 games and all it takes is a bad day and i'm down a couple hundred bucks. I need to maybe start hitting some micro sitngos as opposed to strictly mtt.

I don't know if this is the answer your looking for but I've done that a lot of times on stars, min deposit 10 and play $1-$3 s&g 18p 45p and would take it up to about 50 in one night. I am not sure what's the traffic is like on Bovada but you can do the same if you have the patience for it.

I started with $25 on Bovada, play strictly cash game to grow the roll. There is a lot of easy money on the micro stake tables if you can be patient.

I put $50 on Bovada, ran it to $140 in a month with bonuses, then went on a soul crushing slide. (bad play, variance, and playing outside my bankroll) I reloaded $25 dollars with the intent for that be it for a long while if I lost it. (I had $3 left when I reloaded) I've run it to $74 dollars in 2 weeks.

Start off with the Zone .02/.05. Buy in for the min. When you make a buck or so, squirrel it away and start over at the $2.50 again. I am not a good ring player, but these are SSSOOO soft. Be prepared to take some stupid beats though. I've lost KK v J5s AIPF AA v 83s AIPF and AA v 104s AIPF. yes, those really happened. When you can, look for the beginner trnys. Usually less than 100 players and also SUPER soft. I also like the $3 turbo stt cause they are what............wait for it....................SSOOOFFFFTTTT and fluffy. I say this because my frustration level with these is pretty high, even though I'm coming out ahead right now. I promise you it will be hard at time to not put your fist or foot or head through your monitor with some of the beats you'll take. lol hope this helps.

I've played some of the $1 single table SNG's, these are super turbos so you will have to be prepared to shove marginal hands and have your premiums sucked out on a lot.

I'm still pretty clueless about playing these but I've still managed to win some, the level of play is pretty bad so somebody who knows what they're doing should be able to crush these games with no problem at all.

Micro games under $0.50 is way to go. You can go thru $20 quickly playing @ $1 tables.

I'm in a similar situation. Built up $20 from frs. I stick with $1 BIs, mainly SNGS with the occasional MTT. I guess I suck, because I can't do anything with it. I just can't get ahead, if I go below $20 I wait to cash in a fr before trying again. I've been fighting this cycle for months now and haven't been able to catch a break. I did just go ahead and make a min deposit of $20 and brought my account up to $40, which has slid back to $33 already. If you deposit and stop playing there for awhile, bovada will occasionally send you free money or tourney tickets to get you to come back. That'll be nice if the bad runs continue and I decide to take a break.

I started playing on bovada jan 1 deposited $200 and started playing the $1-$2 table had lots of highs got up to $731 and lots of lows down to $38, so stopped playing that level and moved down to the .05-.10 table to get a feel for the software and how it plays out. I found that you can count on taking some bad beats but if you play tight and pick your places to push you can make some money I have only played at that low level now for 3 to 4 hours each day and I'm up to $592. I like to sit down with $10 play tight until I can build my bank then start to play some more mid range hands they seem to connect alot. The software puts out a lot of big hand vs big hands but if you can time things right and get lucky I have had good luck building my bank at low levels . I also like to change tables once I get up around $30 to $40 and start back at $10. I have noticed that you will see a lot of quads on this site I played for 4 hours today and saw quads 9 times I got them twice and lost one to bigger quads I guess that's online poker and you have to ride it out. I'm glad to be back playing I hadn't played in over five years glad to see you can play for real money again.
