$2 Free on PokerStars

I have been seeing posts all over recently making references to a free $2 that people are getting from pokerstars. I have not been lucky enough to be one of these people. Everybody I seen that got it seemed generally surprised that they got it. I was wondering if anybody has an idea of what kind of resstrictions there are on this money. I find it hard to believe that pokerstars would just pick a bunch of random names out of a hat and just randomly send them money for no reason. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining that I didn't get free money it's more of a curiosity thing, I am willing to win my $2 fair and square. I mean what could they possibly expect to gain from just randomly sending out a bunch of money for no reason?

I am interested in this too. I have heard people talk about it, but haven't gotten any emails or anything regarding this deal from Pokerstars. Someone who has gotten it, please, do tell!

I got 2$ free. I never intended to deposit money online, I used to play frerolls every day so I think they send it out to ppl who never deposit yet play alot with play money/freerolls to encourage them to deposit. I deleted the email, but from what I remember the only restriction is that u gotta use the money within 10 days of the deposit; they wont give money away to let it sit in your account. In my case, theyre strategy worked coz I only play real money now, expt i didnt deposit any money just turnd the 2$ into 201$ in 4 days!!

We have similar PS stories. I too have never deposited any money and have built my banroll up from the freerolls as well. So if these were the only restrictions I think I would have been eligable too.
