Actually, I never played 7-2 Single
draw before two days ago when I got into one of PokerStars Freerolls
. Didn't have a clue, but using pretty much the above rules, managed to finish 54th and win a seat in a 2000 dollar freeroll tomorrow. It was fun.
Have tried Badugi (how the heck is that pronounced?) the same way twice now and managed to get get past the first break the second time around. Still have no clue exactly what I'm doing, but think the main idea is to ignore card values and just try to get one card of each suit.
Ah well, somebody will write a book about it one of these days, I suppose. My money is on Negreanu, 'cause I think he's the only one nuts enough to get into this game.
BTW, I was reviewing some WSOP
bracelet holders information. What the heck is/was Chinese Poker? Anybody have a clue?
