$185.50 unknown in my PSTARS account cashed out!

Logged into pokerstars by downloading the software using a VPN so it looked like I was in the UK... HA... it immeditately prompted me I had to cash out $185.50! Wow... a few days later it was in my prepaid AMEX account!... A nice little surprise... so all out there that may think they have money on PSTARS in the US... try and log in to see if you can get the same! I was astonished!

??? All US players were able to log on to their accounts and request a withdrawal back in May of 2011, no VPN necessary.

Am I misreading your post? Did you "find" money you never really had?

is your account address in the usa, that how they get u. Plus nice try with the vpn but they will still get u

Glad you got your money, but I do hope you were not trying to pull one over on Pokerstars....I mean even if it had worked this time or for a month, sooner or later they would have caught you...just be glad it was sooner as I would imagine anything an unauthorized(hesitate to say illegal) U.S. player wins by using a VPN would be forfeited to satisfy the DOJ. We all miss playing there, but only way to do it right is move elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure you can log in and cash out anyway. You certainly can't play though.

I can login and see my funds right now. No VPN needed. Plus it had nothing to do with the VPN in your case because if the server thought you were in the UK it would not have told you that you had to cash out imediately. That is a message only by US players. So if you saw that message it was because you have a US address. Like others have said, no VPN is required to login and cahs out.

I'm almost positive everyone from the USA can log on and withdraw their funds and has been like this for a while now

I do not think it was the VPN that allowed you to cash out. I am pretty sure you had a balance from pre-black friday and you just figured it out now. Were you using your same account? Also I don't recommend to anyone to try using a VPN they will figure it out and you wont get your money.

I don't think it was mystery money. It must have been from an old account he had before black friday. I'd be very surprised if it was a new account.

I just had no clue I had any money on stars so it was a surprise!
