Hi people,When i calculate how much money poker site earn money via rake, I was concerned. That's true that they send back a part of the money throughout freerolls and guaranteed tournaments, costs etc. however, their profit is still huge. Thus I was seeking for poker sites with the lowest rakes and found two crypto casinos. zero edge and edgeless, which claim to have a minimal rake or even zero. If they will do what they say, I think it would be a really big change in the industry, what do you think?

poker websites are not a charitable organization. They make money. But you can choose whether to participate in it or not.

Yes, that is true. casinos earn a huge money for charges.
Can you share here the registration links to the casinos with a minimum fee, please? I wanna try to play there.

Yes of course, that they will earn money to be able to run, I asked them on the same thing, they answered that main earnings will generate increase price their own currency - the more player - the more demand and the more price of their currency as well as they offer 0% rake for limited tables and others tables will have small rakes for example 1%, what is much less than competitors. They also claim that their operating costs will be much fewer thanks to using blockchain and automatic smart contracts and spare money because they will not spend money on events and freerolls

true words, that they are not charity as every other running business, but their concept is contrary to a standard poker website. The question is if they manage to operate with these low earning and according to them they will create an initial pool of money until they have enough players and their goal will be possible

There have been a few poker sites over the years that have offered 0% rake but they have never lasted.
As someone else said poker sites are not charities and it is normal practise for them to charge rake.

Their concept sounds really good. If they will earn money via demand for their coins then they can afford to pursue the 0% rake casino games. It is worth it to try.

I've begun to play six maybe seven years ago and never catch any poker sites, which have 0% rake, but that's true that I've spent the most time on pokerstars. Why do think that those sites have ended, due to they had a low reserve or just try to offer a few tables as marketing step? If I make a sum how many bets I've put and then apply 4-5% rake it's really big sum, which I could have

Zero rake is impossible...
If a site is worth using it then it has a bunch of employees and they
all wanna get paid...

I would be very careful with those crypto sites...
I would personnally NOT deposit any money on
non-regulated gambling websites...
Even if thee owners have the best intentions these
sites can be seized by police any moment and then
you will not see your money back....

They need to get paid. If not rake, they could charge for withdraw, account maintenance fee, or advertising.

Zero rake is not impossible! sites could charge a monthly flat rate for cash game players, and then just let them play against each other. They arent paying a human dealer or anything...

This discourages casual players from playing which isn't a good idea imo

On tournament selection it is possible to only play tournaments with prizepool overlays or added cash to prizepools which means you are not paying rake in that particular tournament but it is rare example is Tuesday turbo scalps at 8pm GMT on Boylespoker on I network 100 added

the poker room, whether online or live, is not charitable, all are made to earn money. A good example is pokerstars that changed the reward mode, put these boxes under any criticism, at least before you got starcoins every past step and it was ok, you got a lot of starscoins, you had some tournaments or you were rebate cash, 1 starscoins = $ 0.01, now you get those coins with a few starscoins and tickets to a tournament with 30000 players ... and if you're lucky you get more and $ 1 or $ 5 in cash.

Poker rooms earn to themselves, but also players are given the opportunity to play on freerolls with a good prize pool but not always with big prizes, I think that simply they would not make freerolls with good prize money and for them there would be a minus!
