Post-Freeroll 2, Pre-Freeroll 3 Update

The next freeroll will be held on Sunday the 20th of Feb at the normal time (7.30PM GMT - 2.30PM EST).This will be limited to 100 people only. Future freerolls will also follow the same plan (same password style, same day/time same posting requirements). For these 100 people freerolls we will post the password to the freeroll between 1-4 hours before the event takes place, so make sure you're around to get your slot asap.

Also, we have upped the posting requirement to 15 and from now on will be actively policing users who have access to the freerolls. You can't simply post 15 times and never return the forums, ACTIVE members will be rewarded by being given the chance to play in our freerolls, one-time posters won't, spammers definitely won't and will be IP-banned.

PokerStarsPokerStars is one of the best poker sites on the internet. They accept US players and using PokerStars marketing code CARDSCHAT you get a $75 bonus.

Full Tilt PokerFull Tilt Poker is the poker site the pro's play at. US players are welcome - use Full Tilt Poker referral code CARDSCHAT for a $600 bonus.

I like this :)

Hi Nick,
Yep I like it, will be a bit of a stampede once you get over 200 members but i'm game for it. Maybe you should have some sort of requirement to be considered an active member, like maybe at least 3 posts per week. I would imagine most of us will do more than that but there are occassions when I do actually run out of things to discuss ( not often though ).
Can I ask why you changed it to Sunday as opposed to Monday, Sunday is better for me but just wondered why is all.
Ok that's me for now, talk soon and good luck all

Changed to Sunday due to popular demand. By the way we have over 700 members, but not even 1/7 of them have over 15 posts. The requirement will eventually go up to xx posts per week.

Yep the changes are good because the sit outs are very annoying. But i look forward to the next one.

At first i thought 100 members for a free roll would not be enough, but i actually think now that that is an ample number of participants, and should lead to some good poker, cant wait to play in my first free roll!!

We are releasing the password only a few hours before the freeroll so I doubt we'll have any/many sitouts.

hey nick

is there any way of moving the freerolls later in the day?
i sorta remember hearing that you are in UK so I guess im being kinda selfish by asking if you would change the times to better accomodate us North Americans
but its sooooo frustrating because the freerolls always start a couple hours before my school ends; just about the worst time of day for me
if im the only one then whatever but thats just my piece; i miss alot of the freerolls
thanks

100 is Perfect

100 partcipants is perfect for an opportunity to enjoy the game. Sites which have 1000-3000 partcipants are ridiculous. Who has 4 to 5 hours of spare time to sit around to earn $10. I don't understand the logic behind it but everyone has their own reasons I guess.

Passwords will be posted, not emailed. That way you must be active and you have to read the boards a few hours before.

The pot is fine seeing as there aren't that many people participating.

I also think 100 players is better.. As it was stated earlier most sites have between 1500 and 2000, the most I've seen so far is on bet365, where they have a max amount on certain freerolls in excess of 10,000 players.. That's just too many people..

I believe that is a good idea - getting password couple hours before.

I registered last week a couple days ahead of time but ended being gone at the time of Freeroll and forgot to unregister (shame on me!!!) -Sorry about that--

I almost have the freeroll password thing figured out.....lol...............it must be my blond showing again...

So when you post the password on this site...then we race to Noble and register......and there will only be 100 places that can be filled to play the freeroll........

in the meantime...we must have a thread count.....of over a certain amount to be able to get the password...Right.....

still am unable to find out what my thread count is...but i guess i can assume that if i dont get access to the password then i don't have the thread count...

As Always Rid.....

100 will go quick, and when there is 1000+ members at least half of them will be gone within 20mins with crazy all in moves, well thats from my experience of other free rolls anyway.
