Oh, it was awesome. I was expecting to split my two hours into two different days, but we both kind of ranted and spent the whole 2hrs in one day instead.
He basically started off talking about my general game after taking a look at my database before the session. He said my preflop game was really strong and that we wouldn't spend too much time on stuff like positional play etc.
I played like 2-4 tables for about 1.5 hrs where we talked about general pf play (opening sizes from different positions, 3betting, squeezing, 4betting, floating, everything else) and cut ourselves off any time there was an interesting hand to talk about it. I played that QQ hand (folding top set wtf) during the session, we both laughed it off.
After that was done we shut the tables down, and he talked about his hud layout and what the thresholds were for 'hi' and 'low' (like ch-r %s with <~%8 being low and >%12 being high for ex), and how he uses them in certain situations. Although I use most stats he talked about I still found that part extremely helpful, and am going to go over the video of the session to write down each stat and it's thresholds.
Then he talked about his progression as a player and how he overcame his mental roadblocks. I could swear his story is almost exactly like mine, but just multiply the stakes by 10. Hopefully I end up where he is.
Anyways, it was a 10/10 for me, and I'm going to book another few sessions in the near future. A+++++++
