Whats up everyone! I'm one of the 4 people who won a $25 stake from CC. I will be playing my stake on Carbon. I plan on playing mostly tourneys, with a few super turbo sit and gos if I feel like doing those. I will play buyins 2.50 and less.

starting this off by playing some $1.06 super turbo sit and gos!

First game- doubled up early with 5 of 6 left with ak vs a9. i shoved from small blind into big blind. later q10<a3 to get 2nd. was down 3 to 1 going to heads up and q10 is good gambling hand at that stage.

2nd game- a6<a8 bvb crippled then out.
3rd- QQ<AQ out. I shoved early and he got 3 outer.

players are pretty weak. hopefully i can run good against them

4th game- ran ak into aa to get out early.
5th- doubled early 66 vs a4. shoved on button after 2 limpers. i shove a5 into 22 and brick out to get 4th.
6th- super card dead then doubled ak vs aq. then doubled aq vs a9 from my button shove.

with 3 left i shove 77 from button with 600 chips. sb with 300 calls with a10, bb with 900 calls with jj. jj holds and i get 2nd (crazy hand)

bankroll is at 22.90. not running good but im fine with being down 2 buy ins since it couldve been worse.

game 7. 3 left big stack me and other guy are even. i shove ak from small blind, big stack calls with q10. his hand wins from flopping a queen and i bubble.

8- play wasn't fast and furious. got to 25/50 blind level where you have to start being really aggressive with hands like q9 when blind vs blind. doubled to 780 with aa vs aj when i shoved from sb into bb. then i lost 10 10 to aq to go down to 190 chips. doubled with k3 vs 32, then i shoved k5 from small into 109 big. flop 77k. turn 8, river 6 to go down to 100 chips. out not long later.



also, in super turbos the games start at 300 chips with 15/30 blinds, like the full tilt games. the way i play is to be aggressive with good hands and all i can do is keeping getting in my chips good. im happy with how im playing. if i keep running bad though, i will switch the games that i play.

decided to play $2 super turbo heads up. start with 1500 chips and 25/50 blinds. got to early lead, then with 50/100 blinds, min raised with q9 and he called. flop 498 rainbow, he moves all in with j9 and i call and hand holds up. won a game!!

bankroll- 22.68

decided to play micro cash with .02/.04 pl omaha hi lo. bought in $2, going to try and take advantage of players in this game by making good hands and getting them to commit chips with worse hands/low draws.

Broke even in cash game but had bad end to day in tourney i played and sit and gos. Got money in ahead but didnt have best hand in end. Thats poker.

Have $15.18 left. Hopefully the next time I play turns out better! Thanks for reading!

So I decided to play another tourney and try and make a little comeback for the night. The thought of "never give up" was going through my mind when I decided to play a $3.25 super turbo tourney...

I got 2nd out of 61 players for $37.83!!

I played great...one of the first hands heads up was the one that denied me victory. The blinds were 5/10k and my opponent and i had 90k (i had him covered by 620 chips). I moved in with A6 on the button, which I would do everytime in this situation since ace high is favorite against random hand. Plus he would definitely call with worse hands in this spot with the blinds this high. He picked up A8 and called, I had a chop all but locked up after the turn, until he rivered the 8.

After this and winning 7 cents at a limit hold cash game (I quit that cause I got a really bad beat), I decided to play a .02/.04 no limit omaha hi/lo cash game to try to get to $50. A few minutes later I get in a 3 way all in on the flop and ended up getting 1/2 the pot.

After that hand, I am at $50.27. I'm really glad I decided to not give up and play 1 more game after I said I'd throw in the towel for the day after the bad start. Challenge complete.

thanks again guys. appreciate all of your congrats posts. i definitely feel fortunate to double my stake, especially in only 4 hours thanks to a nice tourney. i have played a little bit since i doubled my stake and now i've doubled the 25 twice!

i might decide to play in poker maximus if i have time. that's the only issue. this would remind me of succeeding at grinding mini ftops before black friday, i was a cashing machine!

Update: Things are going well for me. I really like how I'm playing and the results are coming. After I doubled the $25 stake, I have made $100 more! I'm doing this by playing 6 player super turbo sit and gos, a few DON's, and not playing any tourneys or cash games. Haven't even grinded to do it which is awesome.

Hopefully I can keep this run going. It's been a lot of fun. Reminds me of when I went from 0 to 1k on Full Tilt. I was thinking about playing Poker Maximus 2 weeks ago. If I have time I will play some events. Might even decide to make a package...

See we may have expected all the CC stakees to go busto (with $25 it's more likely than not no matter how good you are), but this sort of awesomeness is what we wanted.

So I haven't been practicing the best bankroll mgmt the last 2 days and have taken a few shots at higher buy in 6 man super turbo sit and gos (10 and 20). I do this because I don't play scared, I'm confident in my super turbo game, and I wanted to get Earth VIP on Carbon before August ended. I decided if I get down to $100 for the bankroll, I would make a challenge consisting of $1 super turbos.

I just binked a $20 super turbo sng and I am now at $205!!! I'm very happy about that since I'm up over 8 times the original stake and I have ran awful the last few days. I might have to put the $1 challenge on hold...

Last night I lost a few games and decided to play a $20 super turbo to end my night. I played this game b/c Ashleythegrinder was in it. You can read all about "him" on 2p2. Hilarious thread there. Softest/craziest super turbo ever! Forreal this game was softer than the $1 I played right before this.

We start with 300 chips and 15/30 blinds. Anyway first hand guy moves in with 66 from 2nd position, "Ashley" insta calls with 99 on button. guy in SB calls with Q10 off and gets a queen to win big. Ashley bitches on chat afterwards and it's hilarious, then the SB guy moves in for 6 straight hands. He knocked out a guy with garbage and I'm the short stack starting the 3 handed money bubble. Ended up doubling with 10s vs 75 (he flopped 2 pair but 10 on turn), and KJ>Q10. eventually letting the other 2 battle which let me slip into $. After we get heads up, I end up doubling A7 vs K6 to get even. 10 hands later I win the big race of my AK vs 99 to take almost all the chips, then win it all with AK vs 99 4 hands later. My goal in this game was to beat Ashleythegrinder, I did that and get a nice bonus of winning the game for $78!

Definitely a hilarious way to end last night. I'm up to $232. See you all at the CC buy in game!
