yeah probably the sickest thing i have ever seen just seen this the other day

Does anyone know the mathematical possibility of this happening?

yes its bad. it was on tv with a mill buyin etc but it isnt that big of a deal. stuff like this happens all the time in poker. I lost to a guy holding 2 6 when i had aa

i think scott seiver said before the flop-i lost holding aa in a game last week

I can not stand cary katz. Something about his face.

This kind of things happened all the time in online poker, but when you see something like that in real life game for big amount of money...tilt.

This is the best bad beat that most of us have seen especially in tournaments with buy in of 1000000 dollars

Talk about a bad beat. I think I would have actually puked on the table. He looked like he was close to but I would have.

I had that same beat happen to me once in a tournament. I stopped playing for a week after that hand, tilted me pretty bad.

Although the tournament in question was a $10 buy in, not nearly as devastating as I am sure it was for the guy with the $1M buy in.

I think Connor Drinan says it's not the worst bad beat of the world, because it was only 10% of the action on the big one drop for one owner!

personally is clearly the worst bad beat because no matter if it was 10%, 20,50,70 which is reasonable is that the buy-in is 1,000,000 dollars !! owner

that's why I think you have to be 100% bankroll management to avoid those things happen, is capable of far reaching sometimes the variance!

Playing $ 1 million buy-ins? Sage advice preflop: "Save your money, kid, you can't win every pot." And then goes to ask for a chop. I'm impressed with Drinan's composure though, I'd be absolutey gutted, needless to say.

It happens. It's like 2% for both to win. Seen much more unlikely bad beats. What's truly sick about this hand is ICM value, but when they want to play it, they must cope with such things I guess.

that was definitely sick. im sure a lot of us have had the very same thing happen to them. i know i have had it happen to me but i have never played a 1 million dollar tourney either or anything close. you know that feeling after the flop oh when you kind of get sick and feel the beat coming and then it hits oh such a sick feeling lol. yup it happens i would of puked all over the floor most likely
