It is not the state that is surprising - it is Bovada. :)

Well they stopped accepting NY accounts a while back as well. Can't say I am surprised.

This whole debacle is so annoying and ridiculous. I feel like if people sat down this could be worked out within 1 month for regulation everywhere.

So sad!

If they pull out of my state, I am done with online poker.

That would be highly unlikely unless your state legalized online poker - then you would have multiple options.

It must be nice, to be able to write laws, to force people to spend their money at your place of business! I wonder, if I start a business up, would they do that for me. LOL Oh yeah, and by the way, if I fail is "we the people" going to bail me out!

I wonder if you have ever asked? Do your state represenatives even know what internet poker is, let alone that you want it?

This simply about the money nothing else, old mafia style tactics they want the money to stay in new jersey so they can tax it ,so anybody in new jersey will have to play from a site that functions in new jersey.
