| You can do this on your own by connecting a PS3 or XBOX 360 controller to your computer and then using TableNinja(www.tableninja.com) on PokerStars or FullTilt. It's not as intense as this obviously, but if you really need a controller for playing poker, then you could do that. |

| Poker Controlers I have all wiless so it really would help me but I would like to invent a voice activates ear piece and microphone and some software so I don't have to be in view of my screen. I was thinking it would tell you your cards and position and allow you to del it amount of bet or fold. |

| re: Poker Controller ? What's wrong with a mouse? I see no benefit in a controller. In the future the mouse will become redundant as touch screen becomes widespread (see Apple's iPad). A controller seems like a gimmick and is not the future of online poker, in my opinion. |

Touchscreens/Tablets have been around for years, but they haven't been a huge success because they don't serve the proper purpose for everyday use. They are mainly just used in hospitals and the military uses some as well. Also, Apple is making it a completely closed OS. Meaning that they need to approve of ANY software that you run on it. So you can't just go to www.anysite.com and download a program that you might think would be cool, unless Apple said it was ok. This is forcing people to go through Apple for absolutely everything. It's one thing to do this with a cell phone, but for a whole computer??? Come on. I think it's funny that all of your Apple fanboys will go on and on about how Microsoft was a monopoly, but the evidence for their own beloved being even worse is right in front of their faces. |

Yeah I don't think it is the future either I just want it for convenience for me where I don't have to be in front of my monitor to play. |

![]() When my desktop was arranged differently, with my keyboard in a pull-out drawer and mouse on top of the desk, it was a pain moving between mouse and kb to enter bet amounts. I bought the above Logitech wireless numpad for about $18 on eBay, and left it on the desktop next to the mouse. HUGE improvement. These days my kb is on top next to the mouse, so I just use the regular kb keypad and save the wireless numpad for playing on the laptop. If you want to take it even further and really customize it into a "poker controller" you could use AHK or other software to map the /*-+() keys to specific poker actions. Plus there are three additional custom buttons along the top that the included Logitech driver will let you map to other keys/actions. If you play on a laptop, or with your mouse and kb widely separated like mine was, the separate numpad should be all you need. Plus it works as a numpad for other applications, so it's a lot more practical than such a dedicated poker controller. |

| Not worth it for something you really can't use for much else. I recommend the Logitech DiNovo Mini for people who would like to play poker from their couches. This is what I have for when I just want to sit and relax and hook my HDMI to my 50" flat screen and play from the comfy couch. Biggest difference here is that I can actually use it for something other than poker, like when I want to use my computer as a media center, or just browse the web from my couch. | To be fair I bought one of these last year and its not the best device in the world, cos you cant chat and if you play more than 6 tables gets too annoying, BUT.....and wait for it.....i didnt actually find a better way to bet up and down so quickly, to bet pot across different rooms. I play PLO usually HU games and i find the controller pretty invaluable. I bought it after watching this: http://www.vimeo.com/8725762 - he sold it to me! and i thought i had been scammed when i got it and started playing with it, but when you realise what its about and how best to use it, it is pretty priceless. Doesnt let me bet in the wrong window when playing 2-3 games, there isnt a faster way to switch tables bet pot, switch, fold, switch raise etc. I tried table ninj and i tried the xbox thing and they dont give u any added features. if you are even slightly serious about the game, its definately worth having... i got it hooked up to my 50" plasma now and its sick to sit on the couch and have my feet up! I would actually recommend this (even though my first reaction was WTF is this piece of crap lol). Si |
