HM2 released this week Haven't seen it mentioned here yet. http://www.holdemmanager.com/buy/211/holdem-manager-2 I've been alpha/beta testing it since April. It's a pretty radical departure from HM1 and will take some getting used to, but by May or June I had stopped running HM1 in parallel and went fully HM2. No regrets, but then again I'm not using it nearly to its full potential since Black Friday, as I'm mainly coasting along with my poker playing and not putting in the volume or effort to improve that I once did. It still has a lot of neat new features though. I may have an opportunity to alpha test PT4 as well. From the preview videos I've seen of PT4, it looks interesting and I'm anxious to see how they compare.

re: HM2 released this week poker They haven't specified a HM1 cutoff, only that it will be barely maintained. Only major bug fixes and site compatibility fixes going forward, but they don't say for how long. It won't get any new stats, features, enhancements, etc. Probably no new sites/networks that come online from now on either. If you upgrade to HM2, you lose your HM1 activation after 6 months (was 90 days but they extended it due to outrage from new upgraders wanting to go back). They also said they will switch you back and forth between HM1 and HM2 licenses upon request, but you can't have both active at once. A bit silly and unnecessary IMO, but that's the decision they made. My guess is simply to keep a handle on the number of active licenses they have to potentially support, and to wind down the HM1 support requests.

I am currently going through an awful mess of a process trying to undo this "upgrade" and to get a refund as it invalidates my HM1 license and HM2 in its current state is a rather unusable beta version. I made a thread about it here Warning to potential HM2 upgraders
