UTG monster limps right move?

Late in tournys when you have over 20 bb i think it could be the right move, i guess it all depends if you got loose canons on your table or a bunch of tight knits. In my poker plan experience monsters limped utg (LATE) in tournys have made extreme profit. but it all comes down to do you feel lucky or not, because you are giving the sb and bb a chance to see a flop and 9 times out of 10 they miss but that one time. they hit your tourny could be over!!

It depends on table dynamic, how loose or tight people shove and how much m they have left in a tournament. I'm not a fan of limping aa utg but it could be a good play in the right circumstances.

If the table is aggressive and the shortstacks are getting desperate it's not bad.

that is a good move if at your table there are many loose players so you are sure someone raise after you.... also if no one raise and more people are in the pot the possibility to win that hand with AA is not over 35%.... so you think if that move is good for the continuing of turney or not...

As stated, it depends on the table. If you have lots of people limping behind, your AA can become pretty weak on a lot of flops. If someone is sure to attack your weak limp, then yea, good move. It also depends on your image. If you limp a lot then thats good (not really "good" but for this move image wise) as long as you think you will be raised. If your image is loose agro, go ahead and raise it up here, especially if you have some other agros to follow.

Make whatever move you think will be the one that will NOT leave you in a multiway pot. It would suck bad to limp and have 2+ limpers behind, and maybe the blinds calling and checking on top of that........

Having said that, unless I am REAL certain I am being raised, I will almost never limp any strong hands UTG.

In the long run it´s a bad move, but can be useful at an aggressive table. Only then i would make that limp, only then you can expect action and no multiway pot. Otherwise you will be playin AA for set value LOL....
