How should top pair be played in DoNs. With the amount of equity you need to get your stack in the pot, is it best to just fold in any sort of marginal situation?

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q<font color='red'>♦</font> T<font color='red'>♦</font>

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, SB calls 2.5 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (9 BB, 3 players) 2<font color='red'>♥</font> 6<font color='red'>♥</font> T<font color='black'>♠</font>
SB checks, BB bets 9 BB, Hero??

This seems like a very strange bet. I assume with a set he would check, or at least not be so much. He could have a draw, a ten or an over pair. What should I do here? Do you trust top pair and a strong but vulnerable kicker, or do you play it safe and give up.

Did I go for to much value on this one? Should I have only bet two streets? There are only a few hands that beat me and any A that is in will probably pay off on the river. Of course, is a solid player like that going to pay off with much? he could have a flush draw in which case I should let him try to bluff the river.

1st hand call and revaluate on turn, 2nd hand flop and turn is fine, i check call the river rather than betting out, think he has you beat when he reshoves all in with his stats
