I've noticed, with smaller stakes and definitely with mid stakes, that if I loose a hand, people automatically think I will be playing bad for at least a round or two.
This is when I make most my profits, ironically.
It's funny because I don't ever take a beat seriously, and never give away chips, but people will still assume I'm steaming.
Now, this is mind, I believe table image is important.
Imagine sitting down, playing a weak hand like 10-7o, and getting to a showdown in order to show your cards. *Now is when the other players assume I'm a donkey, and tilting. This is when I switch to TAG positional play and just rake in the calling stations.
What do you all think about this extra factor in the metagame?
