Super Turbo HU tournament

Hi all,

Been a while since last time!
I'm looking for a bit of advice on how to play a Super Turbo HU tour. I've played that before, obviously, but never with a 5k start stack!

That is why I'm asking you, maybe some of you have played one like that before with success or with failure and have some experience in what to do and what not to do. It's 10 times the original start stack from the super turbo games I've played. My own thoughts is to be more aggressive, as you have the possibility to lose more with a start stack that big - but on the other hand you can also afford to wait for good hands, although it's a HU tournament, so the waiting will probably be like 3, maybe 4 hands in a row, max.

What are the starting blinds and how often do the blinds increase?

You likely don't want to wait for good hands, that strategy is only usually good when the blinds take a very long time to go up and your opponent is poor (not good at stealing pots and bluffing in smart spots)/willing to get it in with weak hands (like top pair, no kicker 75bbs deep on a board where a straight or flush is possible).

Guessing it was the micromillions hyper tourney that was on today

I lost 1st game vs a russian girl (

I never participated events like that, it would be really nice i think and if you feel good at HU with 500 or 5k stack it's not big difference, agression is the key here i think. : )

Yeah, that was the one.
I lost first game too, had about 1k more than my opponent and showed with JJ and ran into QQ. Wasn't able to get back up and I lost the last hand with A7 < 85.. such a shame.
Well, next time the MicroMillions is played we can do it better
