That's right after Egon's success I'm going to try and make the FT of the UKIPT Dublin this weekend http://www.ukipt.com/ I won a €2.20 saty to a €108 saty and won that so I'm now in the €560 main event. 700 players, including a few high profile players do battle over 4 days. I'm booked in day 1b Friday 9th Sept 2pm local time, I get to play poker in the biggest live event of my life.

I'm really looking forward to it staying in the hotel where the event is taking place fly out to Dublin early Fri am

Any one got any tips?

I will keep this thread updated with how I do

Nice job on qualifying! Good luck this weekend. The only advice I would give is just treat it like any other tournament (i.e. don't played "scared"). You'll do great, I know it!

GL man, UKIPTs are great fun - staff are good and everyone is friendly. Disappointed I can't go Dublin but you'll have plenty of fun The Irish regs there are all good lads if you want a meal/night out!

After 12 hours 45 minutes of play yesterday I've made day 2. I have 22 BB so I'm a bit short but all that can change quickly

Had Andy Black at my table for most of yesterday .... which was fun NOT ! he'd doubled up earlier and was raising every hand bullying the whole table, I did win a nice pot off him when he raised my BB I looked down to A 10, flop came down 10 10 A I checked he bet half pot. I called turn was 6. I checked he bet again. I re raised he folded....

Game starts again at 2 pm I need a double up !!...

nice work in sattying into this SF. 22BB is fine, pick your spots and shove.(dont take that advice, probably wrong!), gl anyway, and enjoy.
go to temple bar after and drink guiness til you dont care!
