| SHould I be seeing a flop here? I'm in the BB with poor suited hole cards and a min raise ahead of me. I've taken to folding the blinds with the slightest excuse but in this case, I have a min-raiser and 5 callers in front of me. For just T$60 I see a flop for a T$720 pot. Is it a ggod spend of T$60 ? Is it a good pre-flop call? | I would fold, even for a only T$60 raise, cause your starting hand was very weak and only a incredible flop could make you the nuts. If the flop comes 6 as a higher card, you probably would wanna play, but your kicker was very bad so you lose for any player that also had only a pair of 6. Also, with this hand you would not make any nut straigh or nut flush. |

| re: SHould I be seeing a flop here? poker I would just go ahead and fold...even though it was just the min-raise and the were a couple of callers the only thing you can really hit on the flop is clubs. If it was suited connectors like 8c 9c or 5d 6d then I think it would be a good call since you could hit a straight draw or/and a flush draw. |

| In a cash game this is an easy call. If you don't flop the nuts you can always top-up to get back to a maximum stack. In a tournament with an M=21 (and possibly dropping into the teens real soon), these chips are worth more being used for a premium hand in the next orbit or 3 instead of taking a flyer on this suited 3-gapper. If your M was 50+ then yeah take the chance at seeing the flop. As has been said there are very few flop combos that 62s will yield the nuts and a lot of the other combos may look good but will be easily counterfeited or turn into the 2nd nuts. |
