low buy in SNG engame- beating the raiser Hi guys would really appreciate some input on this issue. I usually play 5$ buyin one table SnG. most of the time i get into the top two players but tend to lose out to one particular kind of player. this guy would play pretty tight most of the game until there are only two players left. at this point we would usually each have about 3,000-4,000 chips and the blinds would be 200/400. At this point this guy would just start raising almost every hand no matter what position he is in. About 70-80% of the time he would double up my BB or if i call the SB he would double up as well. I tried waiting for decent hands, at least ones that have a high card in them but the blinds grind me down eventually. I tried playing back at him with a re-raise but that didn't always work either. Lets say he doubles up the BB, I call with 9-10 suited, board comes 3K6 rainbow. If i am out of position he would immidiatly bet big. if i am in position and show weakness and check. same thing. But since he bets all the time i never know what he has, he could have A high or could have caught a pair so i dont want to jeopardize my whole stack on one play. what would be a good strategy to employ here?

In my opinion here two variants - or to attack it with any card and to protect blinds, or to wait for the monster or very strong card and to involve it in bank where to deceive having shown weakness And to take away all its chesspieces)))) When you remain 1 on 1 - that as a rule very quickly game comes to an end, Because many start to play very aggressively and play all-in on very wide range of cards

HU you really need to loosen up. At this time any 2 cards can win not just monsters. And if he's always pushing trap him. Tighten up what your calling with and commit when he 3 bets into you. When he see's he can't push you around he'll change up his game. You have to be able to change up when it comes to heads up. You've already identified him as a TAG and then HU he switches up his game to adjust to yours. If he can push you around he will.
