Late stages of ST sng My main strategy doesn't change for the most part, but these small decisions could be costing me. These are 6 max $2 ST. 70/30 When on the bubble, what times should I call with ATC two D-team small stack. scenario: Blinds 150/300 Button: all in 400 SB: (68o)hero 3200 BB:2200. Is this a call for extra 250 knowing BB will also call. I know im not in risk, But should I call here? result: call Button wins 1200 A high. When you are headsup overwhelming chip lead and blinds are up. What point am I pushing with ATC? scenario: Blinds 200/400 SB;(J2o)hero 5400 BB:600. Is this a call or fold. I think my odds were better to shove with J2o then to call with ATC next hand, or should I have been patient which i couldn't see myself doing having 9to1 chip lead? Result: fold, villain doubles up next hand.finished 2nd. The stack sizes are before blinds are posted. Sorry, but I don't know how to convert merges hand history.

1st hand I don't think you HAVE to call as you may have a chance to own the bubble with your stack. I think calling is certainly reasonable. HU is highly dependant on your opponent. Against some players you can push ATC profitably around 9bb & against some you can never profitably push ATC. Figure out how close your opponent is calling to nash & go from there. Def shove the J2o hand

Blinds 150/300 Button: all in 400 SB: (68o)hero 3200 BB:2200. I believe I call the 250 so its 2 vs 1 to try and bubble him. There's 800 in the pot so almost 3 to 1 pot odds and if you hit and button misses, your in the money. Worse case, you've still got chiplead and button on next hand.

re: Poker & Late stages of ST sng Things to consider in these spots.... how much does it hurt your stack? How much does it help the SS if he wins, and will he now be annoying to you if he does happen to win (IE will he be able to use those chips, or will he just fold his way back to where he started)? How much does calling help knock out the smaller stacked player? The second hand is a really simple one, you have 200 already invested with 400 more to push him all in. If you fold, you let him get free chips, and he gets to shove on you the next hand. If you shove and lose, you give him an extra 400, but the main thing is you got him to face a showdown, and facing a random hand, you win a pretty decent majority of the time, no matter what your hand is.
