HU SNG vs HU Cash

I have completely fallen in love with the HU SNG.

Cut to the chase- am I eventually going to leave it for HU Cash/ring?

Do players typically migrate from one to another, or move freely between?




I find BRM much easier in these, probably because I can only win one buy-in at a time. When I win multiple buyins in SNGs, the first thing I want to do is donk them off in a bigger tourney. I'm excited to see my BR climb little by little. We're at 300%, +$100 folks.

I'm currently playing the $5's and $1s, on bovada, so I'm up over 20BIs in profit. I was doing fine in the $5s but started playing $1s because a) I'm new to HUSNG and b) it was either that, or the $10s!

I find myself switching around different types of poker. I usually end up playing hu sng if i am running bad because it limits my losses.

HUSNGs are fun, what speeds do you play? The speeds should determine your bankroll - the faster the games, more buyins you'll need

I find that HU S&Gs are better as you know how much you could win/lose and its harder to get action with good hands heads up.

The top HUSNG guys are making 200k-1.5 million per year.

No, it's not quite as much as the nosebleed hu cash guys make, but it's in the ballpark.

HUSNGs you don't have to worry about opponents sitting out/leaving/declining action. You register and you play the other person, they can't just quit. Sure, they don't always rematch, but at least you know you get a full game out of anyone that sits in the lobby at any time.

It is also raked very fairly at lower levels, allowing players to get into HUSNGs without a huge bankroll. Whereas, HU cash, if you can find 10NL or 25NL, these levels are usually raked so high they cannot really be beaten.
