I tend to play a lot of these types of games with my mates. We tend to usually play for fun, but sometimes for cash. We tend to do the usual blinds go up after a set time thing.

Now the first few times I played I pretty much played the same as them pretty loose as I hadn't played poker for about a year. The problem is if you don't win a few hands at the start you will get killed by the blinds. I also find it hard to bluff calling stations. Now the first few times we played when I hadn't played for ages I won all of them. Now tho im struggling. I think I have been playing too tight.

For me these are the hardest types of games. I can do well in freerolls with slow blind increases but in these games where little numbers of hands are played between the blinds increasing I have started to struggle.

Advice please, me being competitive wants to win these types of games regularly but I find them so hard because people will play with anything.
We usually play with about 4 people or maybe 6.
