Hi,
I was watching on youtube the PCA main event 2012 and I saw a hand that I found funny and not exactly well played. (see episode 3 at around 21:00)
I wanted to see what you think about the play from the player in BB (whalbeck)
UTG open raises x2.3 with 55.
UTG+1 3bet x2.5 with JJ.
CO 4bets x 2.8 with AA
BB 5bets allin less than x2 with AKo (WTF!?!

There is a 3bet EP, you can consider there is a very good hand there already, then a 4bet from the CO.
At best, with AKo you are playing a 50/50. And with a 4bet, you can rightly assume one of the other raisers has either KK or AA, which gives you very low chances. You don't want to risk your tournament (it's early day 2) on such a speculative hand. Why would he raise allin in that position with that hand ?
It looks like a microstakes play to me. I would have folded my AKo here.
