I've seen people tell me I am playing them wrong ect. when I know that the way the guy bet it's either a up or down draw. The situation I am referring to had me investing 600 on the BB with Jacks while a MP pushed back 1300 all-in. | Playing a hand correctly is always situational, but in general I don't want to be in coin flips or worse with all my chips early in a tournament. Most of the time if you get any action with Jacks you are either up against two over cards or a better pair. Either way is not a great situation early in a tournament. Your example doesn't give much in the way of action leading up to you putting 600 in a pot with Jacks out of position. If you over bet a bunch of limpers at the first level, this is a common donkey bluff move with any two cards. |

| re: Folding Pockets early in MTT poker There are many points you have to watch. How did the other player played before? Which cards did he play and how did he played them.... How are the odds? How the hand developed.... And at the end you have to decide which hand you gave him and if the odds are ok! |
