I was playing at the Aria Las Vegas last night.125.00 deep stack.
I was at the finial table on the button with pocket 4 4. I had 34,000
in chips. 9 players remained . blinds 2 and 4 thousand. 1 player had
about the same amount of chips. 2 other players had 20 to 30 thousand
more than me. The other five players had 80 thousand plus. A very bad player
made it 8000, I pushed all in. The player to my left made it 50,000 he had J J
the other player had A K. the flop was J 6 5 K 10.... What is the correct play here? This was only the second tournament in 5 years....need some good advice

Don't play pocket 4's... if it is a situation were you can bet with them and get everyone to fold.. play them... like on the button with no callers, or the big blind when everyone limps... all in... but other than that unless you hit a 4,if there is more than 1 caller your probably going to lose.

You've omitted so much vital info. Defining someone as a bad playr is not enough to assign ranges and therefore decide the best course of action. You didn't even give his position or stack size. Also results are irrelevant.

Pocket 4's with any raise in front of you and two players left to act behind you, fold.

Thank you

Thank you everyone! This is good advice!
The other mistake I made was not taking more time to think.
Knowing that at best I was going up against to over cards.
