Did I make the right move?

I was playing in a live MTT on Sunday. We were down to 7 people paying 5

spots. The blinds were at 2k 4k w/500 ante. I have 51k. UTG raises, who is

the chip leader, to 14k. I`m the SB, all fold to me, I look down at KK and

shove. He thinks for about 30 seconds and calls. Turns over AK and flops

broadway. I feel I made the right play and just got very unlucky! Any

thoughts?

So you got all in pre flop with 70% equity for a lot of chips on a final table, not to mention you had like 13 big blinds.

What's the question again?

Yeah of course you did getting all in at the final table with KK against AK is never the wrong play, just a tough break.

it's the right play, i would have done the same.Additionally, KK is my favourite hand. ;-)

with so few BB left that's a no-brainer...u have to shove there and just hope for the best...that's the best u could have done and its just unfortunate...that sucks bro i feel ur pain but u gotta find solace in the fact that u did the right thing, nothing else u could have done there

That has got to be one of my favourite hand to shove with.
I was playing in the last CC freeroll, and yes I got KK on the final table, (in SB too I think it was), same scenario, although it wasnt the chip leader, and yes of course I shoved, but, My hand had a better ending ...
