| Data mining in Rush tournaments I've never used any data mining software or HUD, but am wondering if and how these work for Rush poker on FTP -- specifically, tournaments. Are stats compiled for every player in the field, or just at one's specific table? Does quick-folding affect whether or not the information is retrieved? I would think stats regarding pre-flop aggression and blind defence would be very advantageous in this format, but not sure if the programs can even be applied. Thanks for your help! |

| With hand history to a disk file enabled, If you are dealt cards then you will have the entire hand history written even if you quick fold. You should never immediately exit FTP after your last hand, wait a few minutes so that your history gets fully written. The faster your computer is the better the HUD will be. It takes some seconds for PT3 to display the HUD when you switch tables. The HUD will only be really useful once you have a decent sized DB as you need time to build up a history against the other players. Once you do have enough hands it will help you spot the regs and then you can use the stats as an extra hint but as with all HUD stats don't over rely on them. |
